Double Trouble has one extra challenge this month, making this Challenge #6. Thing One asks for something, anything, or everything. Thing Two suggests we add our post to a previous partner. And, Thing Three asks us to decorate the inside of our card. One of our previous partners was The Three Amigos so I am joining in on their embossing, wet or dry, challenge.
I had an unused stamp set from Recollections,Cheeky Modern Pop Unicorn, that was sitting in my "neglected" pile. I also had some very thin black paper sitting in a pile. So, I stamped "SOMETHING", the Unicorn on the black paper with white ink, colored lightly in white and then added the colors using Polychromos pencils. I added some shine with sparkle pens and some Glossy Accents on the horn. The background is both wet and dry EMBOSSED adding Wow gold embossing powder over an embossed piece of Yupo that had been colored with alcohol inks (it's the pink and yellow vertical stripes that you can barely see). The sentiment on the front was from the set and I added some pretty Liquid Pearls.
To add to the INSIDE of the card, I stamped the sentiment that came with the set then added some Bo Bunny glitter paste through an Altenew stencil called Warp Speed.
Hope you'll join in on the fun for both of these groups! Thanks for your
visit.
Let's follow the path toward colorful and playful art together, learning as we go.

Rain Boots with Tulips
This week, over at Twisted Thursday, we have an anything goes. Our sponsor is Patties Creations, and I am using Rain Boot with Tulips.
The image was colored with Copics with just a bit of white gel pen added. The background was created using a Copic airbrush over a Stampendous stencil. The sentiment is also from Stampendous (embossed with white), and the butterfly is a Recollections punch. The boots and sentiment are popped. Just a bit of lace completed the card.
Thanks for stopping by. I always enjoy reading your comments!

Another Christmas in July Penguin Style
Double Trouble, Challenge #5, and Heart 2 Heart have joined together for a challenge. On Double Trouble, Thing one would like to see Christmas with a sentiment, Thing two would like us to link up with Heart 2 Heart, and Thing 3 would love to see a fun fold. Finally, Heart 2 Heart is a Christmas in July challenge. I knew I could do each of these in one card, even though it isn't necessary to do so.
The triangle card fold came from a tutorial on SplitCoast Stampers, The penguin and sentiment are from a Recollections set called Christmas. The fun red circular lined design is a stamp from Close to my Heart set My Sunshine. The red and black paper comes from a set Cartopia from Echo Park. (Okay, it's wheels, but I thought it looked like Christmas ornaments!)
On the inside, I used a Paper Smooches sentiment from Boxed Greetings with a matching die cut and some stamped stars from the same set.
I also added lots of Nuvo Crystal Drops and some Tulip fabric "snow" to the hat.
Hope you'll join in on the fun for both of these groups! Thanks for your visit.

Birthday Dance
Birthday month for Sandra Caldwell over at BabyCakesDND. You can join in on the fun over at her Facebook group!
I chose #1592 Ballerina Hippo for my image. I colored her with Copics and added PrismaColor colored pencils for detail and depth. I also added some clear gel pen to the eyes, flower, and toenails. All of the papers come from WeAre3 on Etsy. I used the Celebrate for the hearts (Paper Smooches), and Just a Dress (Cut with Paper Smooches Flower Frame).
For the final step, I popped the sweet hippo on an Art Impressions wobble and added some fun birthday sequins.
I will be posting a short video showing the wobble in action. I do not know how to get this video to my blogpost though.

House Mouse Painted Pansies
The optional theme for House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge is Hot Summer Days. Living in central Arizona, well, I am quite familiar with temps well over 100 degrees for the long days of summer. Even with these temps, flowers seem to be quite happy as long as you give them lots of water.
This sweet image, Painted Pansies, was colored with Copics. There's also a bit of clear gel pen over the jar, and some purple gel pen over the words. The frame is from MFT Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangle. The Hello is from Honey Bee and is popped up.
Glad you stopped by. I do enjoy reading comments, so if you have the time, please leave one!

Alice Fell
Well, I didn't make you wait very long for the second image that Sandra Caldwell drew from my suggestion. Check yesterday's post if you do not know what I am talking about. BabyCakesDND is the place to go to see her fantastic digital images, or take a look at her Facebook fan group.
I'm a real "Alice" fan, and I wanted a drawing of Alice actually falling. This image from Sandra, Alice Fell, was colored with Copics. I cut out the image with the Creative Basics Fancy Rectangles set from C.C Designs (on sale right now), backed it with gingham paper from My Favorite Things, double colored the card and clock to pop them. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the sentiment came from an ephemera pack from Echo Park.

Knot a Giraffe
Sandra Caldwell of BabyCakesDND had a contest on Facebook. She asked for suggestions on what she should draw next, and if she selected two of yours, she would draw them both and one would be given as a prize. I was so excited when two of mine were chosen. This is the first one that I have colored.
The image, Knot a Giraffe, was colored with Copics. He is popped over a die cut that was from Queen & Co., but I can't find it any longer to link. The sentiment was one is just made up and printed off of my computer. Fun and quirky wedding card, LOL!
Want to know what else I selected and Sandra drew? Well, you will just have to wait until I have time to color that one up.

Allie in Fishbowl
A new month and a new sponsor over at Twisted Thursday. Our sponsor is Patties Creations, and I am using Allie in Fishbowl.
I colored the image using my Copics and then went over everything using my PrismaColor colored pencils. The background is a stencil from Altenew called Warp Speed with Nuvo mousse in gold. The edges were brushed with Distress Oxide Inks then sprayed with Sparkle Shimmer Spritz. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, stamped with Teresa Collins Glitz Gold and embossed with clear embossing powder. The little white die cuts were just sitting on my desk, so I'm not sure where they came from, LOL!

Christmas in July
The July challenge for Paper Smooches is Christmas in July. And, Through the Craftroom Door, has a pretty sketch, so I combined the challenges.
The image, colored with Copics, is from The Chubby Chum Pals and I used the matching dies and popped it on the card. The fun ric rac was cut from the Borders 3 die set. The stitched flags are from C.C Designs, and the papers all came from Gina K Designs. The sentiment came from the Chubby Chum Pals set, and I added three jingle bell brads from my stash.
Thanks for stopping by.

Wishes for a Happy Birthday from Dragons Lair Designs
Another month, another fun stamp from Dragon's Lair Designs progressive challenge over on Facebook.
I used a Sizzix Step-up die to create the card base. I'm sure the sentiment isn't new, but it's what came to mind and so I just printed it out.
Thanks for visiting. I truly enjoy reading comments if you have the time to leave one :)

Double Trouble - Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges
This card was created for my daughter-in-law's birthday.
The image is from BabyCakesDND, For you thanks, and was colored with Copics.
Challenge #4 over at Double Trouble has a three/two/one recipe, and an added challenge to use the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge. Thing Three asked us to use wet or dry embossing.
I used three colors, two words, and one image. I followed the sketch given, and I dry embossed the background folder and wet embossed the sentiment. Think I covered all the bases on this one, LOL!
I also added a few Nuvo Crystal drops in the selected three colors of the challenge.
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you will give both of these challenges a look!
