Day Seven Coffee Lover's Bloghop

Day seven of the Coffee Lover's Bloghop, and I'm loving seeing everyone's fun creations. I made a simple tag with a heart impression and used a Stampabilities stamp and a sweet sentiment from Hampton Art (Gloria Steigel Designs) that I used for the front and again for the inside.

One more day. Hope you are having as much fun as I am. I always love reading your comments too!

Day Six Coffee Lover's Bloghop

For day six of the Coffee Lover's Bloghop, I started with paper from Bo Bunny.
I topped that with the Tim Holtz Alterations Sizzix folder, The cup is from From the Heart - World's Best Coffee, and I colored it with Chameleon Colored Pencils. The sentiment comes from Ranger's Letter It Greetings.

Glad you stopped by. Leave me a comment if you have the time. I always appreciate knowing that someone looked at my page :)

Day Five Coffee Lover's Bloghop

Already day five of the Coffee Lover's bloghop, and what fun!
For this card, I used one of Gerda Steiner's Coffee Mouse image that I put on a wobble. The mouse is colored in Copics. The large sentiment comes from Gerda as well, and the smaller sentiment on the top of the card comes from Paper Sweeties. The background is an old thank you note turned around and then used to sop up some acrylics that I had been working with on my craft mat. Never waste anything, right? A few Nuvo Crystal Drops finished up this card.

I really appreciate that you took the time to pop over. Say "Hi", if you have the time!

Stacked Cups for Double Trouble and the Coffee Lovers Bloghop

Well, since I can add up to three cards on the new challenge blog, Double Trouble, I thought I would combine it with another entry for  the Coffee Lover's Bloghop!
Copic Colors Used
The background paper is some Origami paper from my stash, the purples are from an advertisement from Our Daily Bread. The cups came from Carmen's Place, Stacking Cups. The sentiment comes from a set by My Favorite Things, Perk Up.

Hope you'll join in on the fun for both of these groups! Thanks for your visit.

Day Four Coffee Lover's Bloghop

For day four of the Coffee Lover's Bloghop, I thought I'd play on Kraft and do something a bit different.

I combined the Sizzix, Tim Holtz Alterations Cityscape, the Lawn Fawn Peekaboo for the frame, Sizzix, Tim Holtz Embossing folder for the background, and Powder Puff Chalk Inks. The sentiment is from Stampabilities.

Nice to have you take the time to visit.
I hope you will leave a comment.

Double Trouble and Coffee Lovers Bloghop

Feeling a bit bad for Thing 2 that I ignored yesterday, so I thought I should do a second card for challenge #1 on my friends new blog, Double Trouble!
Thing 1 asks you to use 2 or more patterned papers, which I did. Thing 2 double dares you to link up to the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.  So for day three, I will have two entries to the Coffee Lover's Bloghop!
Copic Colors Used
I used an image and sentiment from a Bugaboo mini-set Coffee Mug. The papers and little paper cups were from my stash.

Hope you'll join in on the fun for both of these groups! Thanks for your visit. If you commented on previous entries and wondered where your comments went, blogger is having some issues in that area. I hope I have now posted past comments that you all have kindly left for me, and I thank you!

Day Three Coffee Lover's Bloghop

For day three of the Coffee Lover's Bloghop, I am choosing an art journal page that I did just for fun using some Tim Holtz die cuts.

Thanks for stopping by.
I love reading your comments.

Moving Day - For the New Double Trouble Challenge

So excited to tell you that there is a new challenge in town! A couple of my good friends decided to start a challenge where you can use ANYBODY'S images! Isn't that great? Now you can pull out those stamps and images that you can never get to and have some fun over at Double Trouble!

Thing 1 and Thing 2 offer you some choices, and I selected Thing 1 this time. Thing 1 asks you to use 2 or more patterned papers. I have a paper pack that actually was gifted me by one of the creator's of this blog. I have used it many times and can still find lots of uses for it. I used three different papers from the Cartopia set by Echo Park. Colored pencils and some Nuvo Crystal drops added more color.

So, here is Challenge #1. The images are from Bugaboo -  Houses and Moving Truck.

Glad you stopped by and I would be thrilled if you would support my friend's new venture!

Day Two Coffee Lover's Bloghop

For day two of the Coffee Lover's Bloghop, I chose to create a side step card.
The image comes from Adorn It, called Coffee Time. I used Zig Brushables, some Really Reasonable ribbon, left over Gelli printed papers, foam flower, and some Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Thanks for stopping by. I am really enjoying all the nice comments that are being left along this blog hop! I'm also enjoying seeing all the fun works that you all have created along the way.

Day One Coffee Lovers Bloghop

For the first day of the Spring and Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop, I have created a "see through" card. What fun this was to create!
I have lost the packaging from the rectangular die cut that, doubled, makes the card base. If anyone can tell me, please leave it in the comments. The image is from Sasayaki Glitter, Reading Time, and I used both Copics and Prismacolor Colored Pencils. The sentiment comes from We Are 3, Smiles Sentiments

Thanks for your visit. I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with along the way! I always enjoy comments, if you have the time!

Head in the Clouds

Our sponsor this month is All Dressed Up. This week over, at Twisted Thursday, the optional twist is Double Embossing!
This adorable giraffe is called Head in the Clouds, and I just had to have him!

Zig Clean Color Real Brushes were used to color the giraffe. The embossed background is a Darice folder that was swiped with Powderpuff Chalk Inks for my first embossed element. For the second, the edges (cut with Penny Black's Antique Frames), I ran some of the chalk inks around the edges and then covered and heat embossed using clear embossing powder then popped the matted image. Some enamel dots (Large, Bella Blvd. and small, Whimsy), Nuvo red and black Crystal drops for the eyes and tongue, and a tiny glossed red bird from Memory Box finished up the card.

Thanks for dropping by. I always appreciate any comments that you leave.

Kawaii Coffee - Coffee Break

Having a new friend who is a scrapbooker, I have been looking at her site and finding that some of the layouts she uses could work for cardmaking as well. Most of them need to be minimalized though to fit into the smaller card space.

While on a hunt for more coffee images, I found Kate Hadfield Designs' free Kawaii Coffee coloring page, then I just had to have her Coffee and Cupcakes bundle, and then I found her challenge and thought, why not? Most of the participants happen to be scrapbookers, but I took the template and used it as inspiration to create a card.
Copic Colors Used
What fun this was to color! I colored with Copics and added some Spectrum Noir Shimmer, Nuvo Crystal Drops, and some Glossy Accents over the sentiment and other parts for added dimension. The sentiment is popped, and the background was created with a striped stencil and my air brush.

Thanks for stopping by. I truly love reading the comments that you leave!

Little Flower Fairy in Lavender and Lace

Our sponsor this month is All Dressed Up. Isn't this the cutest fairy, called Little Flower Fairy? Our optional twist over at Twisted Thursday is Lavender and Lace.
I printed her on Glama Natural Opaline Translucent paper and colored with Copics on the back side to make this soft looking image. Very different paper to try to color. The lighter markers simply erase the darker, so a bit of a learning curve to get the results I was after.
The background paper is Distress Oxide Inks on Yupo paper then sealed with MicroGlaze. I added a touch of Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen and a few shiny lavender gems.

Mixed Media May Flowers

The Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge for May is "May flowers".
I am working on an envelope book and this is one of the pages that will be in that book. Many of the pages will be made from long envelopes that are folded in half and cut open on the ends to make double pockets. I did a mixed media page here using Color Bursts, Nuvo Crystal Drops, Tim Holtz ChitChat, Glass Bead Glitter Gel, and flowers from Winnie and Walter.

Thanks for stopping by, and a special thanks to all that leave comments!

Little Patch Puppy

Our sponsor this month is All Dressed Up. Our optional twist over at Twisted Thursday is Something to Wear.
This flower and button dressed up pup reminded me of the song lyrics If you're going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair! And this pup is certainly dressed for something special! The image is called Little Patch Puppy. I used an easel card from My Scrap Chick and cut it with my Scan n Cut using Gina K papers. A white embossed popped sentiment and a few buttons finished up the card.
