K Card With Paper Flowers

An anything goes challenge is up at Twisted Thursdays over at The Outlawz. This is a "K card" shaped card to which I added a couple of flowers that I made. The directions for this card came from a video with directions and ideas for use of The Ultimate Pro from Crafter's Companion.

Heels from DoveArt Designs

Favorite colors is the optional twist over at The Outlawz' Twisted Thursday.  I am definitely a "red" girl, although my favorite color is usually the one I have in my hand at the moment! These fun shoes are from Jennifer Dove and I was lucky enough to take a class with here where we worked with this image. Do take a look at all her wonderful stamps by clicking on her name, or Heels for this specific stamp. Copic Markers were used to color the shoes.

This week over at The Outlawz' Twisted Thursday, the optional twist is flowers. I chose to do a stair-step card with flowers using the adorable "April" stamp from Penny Black.

Welcome Great-Grandson with Pan Pastels

I have been blessed with a great grandson. Amazing! This is the card I made for him using a, new to me, technique. I did a light coat of pearl Pan Pastels followed by a couple of darker ones. Then I stamped with clear embossing powder (did NOT heat set) and then recolored with Pan Pastels from dark to light and gave it a quick spray with fixative.

Watercolored Poppies from Sami Stamps

Water Color Flowers and Background
This week, over at The Outlawz' Twisted Thursday, our optional twist is to add a charm. Out sponsor is Sami Stamps and I just love this poppy stamp. I played with many different types of coloring and finally settled on this watercolored one for the "final" card.

I used watercolor paper and stamped the image. Then I covered the image with a mask, wet the paper, added water colors randomly, and wet to spread. Then I removed the mask.

The charm is a tiny resin heart and I topped the "hello" with glossy accents.
Markers and Watercolor background

This was a close runner-up. I used marker with a watercolor background.

Ppinkydolls Another Gift Side Step Card

This adorable image, called Another Gift by Ppinkydolls, came free from the Progressive Freebie Challenge over at The Outlawz. Do stop by and find out how to get next month's free image.
I used Copics to color her and added some Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents. The sentiment is embossed and the back layer of this side step card is an embossed Christmas Tree with Distress Inks, Gold Wink of Stella and Strickles for the red balls and tree star. A bit of ribbon and a bow finish off the card.

Thank you for looking!
