Time to Let it Snow

The optional twist this time on   Twisted Thursday, is clock or timepiece.

Our sponsor is Sherri Baldy of My Besties. I selected Image 1858, Winter, and colored her with Copics and PrismaColor pencils. Then, she was fussy cut and popped over the edge of the oval.

The card has two layers of embossed snow/clocks sandwiched with an oval opening. A tiny tag with a clock charm and tie was added to explain the addition of clocks to a winter scene!

Baby It's Cold Outside

Interesting optional challenge this week for Twisted Thursday is to use a horded supply. Well, I found a set of metallic gel pens about 5 years ago on clearance that I just love. I almost never use them because I am afraid that they will run out and they are just too expensive to buy, LOL!  Here is a link to the gold that I used, but I actually got a set for less than what one sells for. You can barely see it, but I used it on her boot buttons!
Our sponsor is My Besties and I selected Image#469, that I colored in Copics and colored pencils. The window is from Sizzix, the embossed snowflakes from Echo Park, Snow is Falling. The background is an embossing folder, and the added color is from Distress Oxides.  I created the sentiment in Word, and fussy cut and popped the image.

Christmas Cutie

We are having a Sponsor Appreciation Month for Twisted Thursday as a thank you to all the generosity that allows us to share our creations with all of you
This time, for an anything goes challenge, I have selected this sweet Christmas image from LeAnn's World 101. This was a freebie from last December, but there is a similar one available.

I colored her with Copics and added some fine line pens, and colored pencils. Then, I added some Nuvo in glitter on the hat pom pom and clear on the ornament.

Some fancy die cut layers (some popped), some fussy cutting of the image, and a few gold embellishments finished the card.

That fun background was created by using a stencil from Rubbernecker called Squares and Rectangle and ink.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will check out all of the sponsors that have supported us this year!

This time, I chose Dr. Digi as my sponsor to highlight using the image Mad Hatter to create the twisted easel optional challenge.

I colored the image with Copic Markers. The coffee cups came from my stash of "Alice" ephemera.

The tutorial I followed for the twisted easel card is on SplitCoast Stampers. Sentiment from Tim Holtz Small Talk

House Mouse and Cookie Crumbles

Recently, I won this adorable stamp from sponsor Stampendous as part of the Coffee Lover's Bloghop, Cookie Crumbles. I could hardly wait to color it up!
I stamped onto Kraft and colored with Luminance colored pencils and edged with Distress Inks. The popped sentiment, from Waffle Flower, was heat embossed and cut with a heart die. The background is an embossing folder from Sizzix that I swiped with ink, then, a few Nuvo drops were added for some extra fun.

Thanks for visiting. I am adding this to the House Mouse & Friends Challenge.

Edited to add that I was the winner for this card:

Glitzy Warm Wishes

Challenge #43 on the Double Trouble Challenge blog is asking for some glitz or glimmer with and optional snowman and a  link to the Cupcake Inspirations Blog.
I made a really big tag using Cutplorations dies. The tree, Penny Black Winter Tree, is really sparkly in person where I embossed with Holographic embossing powder from Ranger. The snowman and flakes, colored with Copics, are from a set from Art Impressions/Hampton Arts and cut with the included dies. The snow was created using puff paint that I sprayed with Rock Candy glitter and heat set to make it puff. The snowman is popped, and the final tag, Lawn Fawn (newer sets are stitched), was added with some ribbon.

Bottoms Up!

Our sponsor for the month of October over at Twisted Thursday is Dr. Digi. I was given this fun image of the Mad Hatter (many of you know I love anything "Alice") so I really enjoyed working with this for my second card as well!
The optional twist is Creepy or Cute and I thought that this photo, from Pixabay, made for a cute fall Halloween/Pumpkin Spiced Latte vibe. I typed up an appropriate sentiment and added it to the photo before printing.

The image was colored with Copic markers and framed over vellum.  The hatter was fussy cut then added on top of the frame.

Glad you dropped by, and I hope you'll take a peek over at Twisted Thursday and join in on the fun!
