Winter Scene

For my last post as guest designing this month for Double Trouble Challenge Blog, Challenge #18, since December has an extra Monday we have an "anything goes"!

Inside "But first, coffee!"
I used the set Warm Hearts from Paper Smooches and colored with Copics. The circle of cups was created using the Gina K Wreath Builder Kit. The background doily is a die cut from Prima Dies, the stitched circles are from Gina Marie Designs, and the stitched hillside was cut with Lawn Fawn's Simple Stitched Hillside Borders. I used Tulip Fabric Paint for the puffy snow and a white gel pen for the falling snow.

Recipe for Happiness

I'm so happy to have been asked to be guest designing this month for Double Trouble Challenge Blog. (Do take a look at the blog to read complete and fun directions!)
This week, #17, has a "recipe" of at lease 3 embellishments, 2 colors, and 1 stamp or digital image. For more chances to win, add something you might find or make in a kitchen, and/or join in the Color My Heart Color Dare #322 for Bright and Bold, or #323 Soft & Pastel!

I used images from MFT, Recipe for Happiness, and colored with Copics (except for his florescent scarf, which is a gel pen). I pulled out some bright and bold papers from my stash. If you weren't awake when you opened this, you are now! The three embellishments are the little clothes pins, clipped to the orange and white ribbon.

For the second project using the same prompts but in pastels, I created a tag stamped with Distress Oxides in a light pink, embossed with clear powder, then surrounded by pink and yellow inks. The stamps are from Avery Elle, Bring on the Cake.  The cake and plate were colored in using Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens in Rose Quartz and Moonlight. A few enamel dots for the embellishments and a simple polka dotted ribbon tie finished off this little gift tag.

I colored these sweet elves with Copic markers and added a bit of white gel pen, and created a tag with heavy paper from  Graphic 45, St. Nicholas paper. Then I attached a fun tassel and a sentiment from The Hungry JPeg.

Fleas Navidad

The December Paper Smooches challenge is all about ribbons! I so love the Santa Paws set, and couldn't resist pulling it out to make a special card for my sister-in-law who has a dog that looks just like this one!

I used Copics for the coloring and added some white gel pen.

The background was created using Faber Castell Glass Bead Glitter Gel through a Simon Says Falling Snow Stencil.

The word bubble is also from Paper Smooches. The fluffy parts of the hats and pants are Nuvo Glitter Accents. And, finally, that glorious big bow is from a roll I picked up at Michaels recently.

Thanks for visiting. I love reading your comments!
