May 7th Coffee Lover's Blog Hop

Today, for the Coffee Lover's Blog Hop, I created a tag.

The background is white heat embossed Hit the Brick from Unity & Brutus Monroe. The white scallop on top, also heat embossed, is from Art Stamp, Edges in my Journal. The colored card comes from Adorn it Coffee Time, by Lindsay Ulstrum. And, I added a bit of rustic burlap and twine for added texture.

Thanks for your visit. I am enjoying seeing everyone's fun creations on Instagram (jeanchaneyaz) and Facebook!

Christmas Elves Tag

The optional twist for this week over at Twisted Thursday is to create a ticket or tag. This month's sponsor is MMedel Illustrations. The elves come from a set called Santa and Friends.
I colored these sweet elves with Copic markers and added a bit of white gel pen, and created a tag with heavy paper from  Graphic 45, St. Nicholas paper. Then I attached a fun tassel and a sentiment from The Hungry JPeg.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I always enjoy reading your comments!

Hogs and Kisses Christmas Tag

This week we end our sponsor showcase over at The Outlawz, Twisted Thursday. This week, the optional twist is Anything Goes. I selected Imagine That this week and the fun little Hogs and Kisses image. Who couldn't love getting a Christmas tag with a tree full of pigs?

I used my Chameleon colored pencils over Kraft that was printed with a light gray tag under the image which was in white. The sentiment is from a set that came with a magazine from Practical Publishing quite some time ago. A Christmas ribbon and lots of fun Nuvo Crystal Drops finished off this tag.

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed this fun month full of such variety with so many sponsors that we are truly grateful for.

As always, if you have the time to leave a comment, I really enjoy reading them!

Three Funny Elves on Kraft

This month we are having a sponsor showcase over at The Outlawz, Twisted Thursday. This week, the optional twist is to use Kraft. Three Funny Elves is the image I selected to use from MMedel Illustrations

I used my Chameleon colored pencils over Kraft that was printed with a light gray tag under the image which was in white. Interesting how this turned out. I added some clear Nuvo Crystal drops over the jingle bells on the elves' hats and a real one (brad) on the top of the tag.  A bit of ribbon with a Merry Christmas sentiment and a simple green bow at the top finished the tag.

Please do visit our sponsors to let them know how much we appreciate their support.

Lost Souls of Innocent Dolls Tag

I have recently discovered Oddball Art Stamps while Online looking for more "Alice" stamps for my growing collection. There are some really fun images to choose, well not some, a lot (and Alice ones too)! And, they have a monthly challenge, so what's not to love? I selected the image Creepy Cute Girl in Chains Ceecee Image No. 266  to go along with this month's optional theme Lost Souls of Innocent Dolls. As someone who loves dolls and ghoulish things as well, this really appealed to me.
I used my Word program to add the PNG image over the lightened bricks, then colored both with Copics. I cut a tag from it and also from a piece of heavy black cardstock to back it. I added black twine and some flowers from the Small Sweet Peony set from Heartfelt Creations that I embossed on black with white and added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in a color to match her hair and dress.

Thanks so much for your visit. Hope you'll take a look at Oddball Art and join in on the fun. And, I always enjoy reading your comments.

Last Day - Coffee Lover's Bloghop AND First Day - The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge

Last day of the Coffee Lover's Bloghop, and I did a simple tag. This is also my coloring for the first day of the Daily Marker's 30 day Coloring Challenge.
This image is from Vera Lane, CupoCat, LOL! I colored it with Copics and added it to a tag that was used to mop up some spilled ink. Along the side, I added some coffee themed Washi tape. On the top left, I added a tiny Coffee stamp from CherryPink.

I was fortunate to have been selected to be an "Ambassador" for Kathy's coloring challenge. That means that I get to leave comments for participants on both Instagram and Facebook on the days that have been assigned to me. I can't wait to see what everyone will be coloring each day for that challenge and will try my best to keep up! Here is all the info and even a photo of yours truly!

Thanks for your visit! So much fun to "meet" many of you along the way! I have so appreciated all the comments that have been left, and am already looking forward to the next Coffee Hop! Hope to see most of you along the way on the 30 Day Coloring Challenge that starts today too!

Java Fox November Tag

I was just loving the things that were being posted over at Craftin Desert Divas November Mood Board Monthly Social Media Challenge on Facebook, and just had to jump in and create a tag.
Nov. Mood Board
I was inspired by the hot cocoa and the fall colors. I had to add some blue though as it is opposite of orange on the color wheel. This cute image is called Java Fox. The brown tag has some Snow-Tex stenciled through an Elizabeth Crafts Design stencil. I popped up the image that has some Tumbled Glass around the edges and added some rick rack and twine. Three white dots of Nuvo Crystal Drops finishes this off.

Santa Tree Christmas Tag

The optional twist this week over at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz, is "Anything Goes". I selected AKV Santa - Tree from our sponsor, Bugaboo, to make another gift tag for another of my grandchildren.
For the background, I used some Distress Crayons blended with a baby wipe and then added some glass beads through a dotted stencil. Santa's tree was textured using a rag and Copic Blending Solution. I cut the colored image with my Scan n Cut and popped it on to the tag with foam for added dimension.  Gold thread was used to attach the tiny tag and the top was tied with gold cord from Make it Christmas from Hobby Lobby.

Rudolph Presents

The optional twist this week over at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz, is to make or use a tag. I love to put special tags on gifts for my family, so this one is for my granddaughter.

I used a manilla tag covered with several reds of Distress inks. A bit of water splatter was added and then some BoBunny glitter paste was added through a Christmas ornament stencil from Carta Bella. There is also a bit of Liquid Pearls and some Stickles. The reindeer, from Bugaboo and called Rudolph Presents, was put on top of some ripped green paper edged with white Distress ink.  He has some Glossy Accents over his eyes and I added a small tag to the big tag. Finally, I added some gold cord from Hobby Lobby.

Tulip Bug Tag

This week the optional twist over at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz is to add ladybugs. Well, who couldn't love these adorable little insects? I found this tag image from our sponsor, Bugaboo, called Tulip Bug Tag. I fussy cut it out and made two blank tags to add behind it. I added eyelets and some colored cording and edged each with Distress Inks. The top tag is popped up with foam tape. Would you believe I even had some ladybug buttons in my stash? A bit of Wink of Stella, purple ribbon, and some sparkly purple paper and my card was complete!

Moongirl and Bird

This week the optional twist over at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz, is to pick from a Tic Tack Toe chart. I picked the right column down for brads, ribbon, and tag. I used our sponsor, Ppinky Dolls,  sweet image Moongirl and Bird. The tag was clear embossed with a fasceted stamp from Neat and Tangled. I went over it with Distress Inks and Distress Crayons. The image was die cut with a Circle Die from our sponsor Gina Marie. I edged the circle with Distress Inks as well. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz Saying Stuff stamp set.  I added star brads and a big bow that I dyed with Copic markers to match the other yellows. A bit of black random stamping and some gold Stickles drops were added for texture.

Voodoo King

This month the Progressive Challenge over at The Outlawz has a very different kind of a challenge image. I had soooo much fun working on this tag that I made using Voodoo King from SLS Lines.
For the background, I used the Skeleton Lady stamp from Stampendous and the Swirl Border from All Night Media. I edged the tag with wilted violet and black soot Distress Inks and gave it a good spray with Perfect Pearls. I added some clear and white gel pen to the image, fussy cut him out and placed him with some foam tape for dimension. Finally, I added a buckle and some purple lace ribbon.

Christmas Tag in Red,, Green, and Gold

The twist for this week's challenge over at the Outlawz Twisted Thursday, is "Your Favorite Color at Christmas Time!" Being a traditionalist and a Santa believer, I'm for Red/Green/Gold! I thought, since this in an "anything goes" challenge, I should do some Christmas tags. I had fun making the dimensional ornaments for this one.

Relaxin' Tag by Stampotique

I've joined yet another group on The Outlawz, and this one is Thursday Twist! This is an Anything Goes but with a twist. This week, because of the party, the anything goes means you can do two things. I will do two posts because I think you need a different URL for each? Not sure, but that's what I will do. I bought this stamp, Relaxin, because I HAD to have it. I got it from Stampotique. This is a tag that I made with it. She is colored in Copics with just a touch of gel pen.The background is splatted inks. Added a bit of Washi tape, a die cut florish, and a few dots. Black pen for the "Wassup?"

Quilling, Outlawz Challenge

I have been asked to show some of my quilling. I am a beginner and have only done a few pieces. So, I thought I would take this week's challenge from The Outlawz CAS (Clean and Simple) to use a tag and add some quilling to it. I fringed the red and white ones. I really had a battle with my computer to get the colors right and the computer won. This time anyway. The card is one of those craft paper colors, so brown. The bottom tag was painted with Wild Honey Distress Paint and the top one was sprayed with Dylusions in a purple. They both started out as the brown as well. I added an eyelet and stamped "just because."

More quilling, and do remember these are my first tries :)
