Shorthaired Cat Easel Card

This month our sponsor at Twisted Thursday is DigiStamps4Joy. I am using the  Shorthaired Cat digi one more time.

Our optional twist is Anything Goes.  The background is an embossing folder swiped with Distress Oxide Inks, the cat was colored with Distress inks and colored pencils then popped up for dimension. The butterfly is a punch from Recollections, leaves from Tim Holtz, and sentiment from Paper Smooches. Ribbon and brads are from my stash.

Altered Vintage Ad for Coffeepot

Well, today is the last day for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I certainly enjoyed this hop and met a lot of new creative people along the way.
I searched for free vintage coffee pot images and I selected this one. It was in a pale yellow, but I added lots of Prismacolor colored pencils to give it that fall look. I also added some Distress Oxide covered leaves,  and some Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest.

Just Try to Take my Coffee Away!

Well, today is the penultimate day for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. (Sorry, just one of my favorite words and I never find a place to use it, LOL!)
I just love the images from Sarah Trumpp from Wonderstrange. Unfortunately, the site seems to have been hacked since a couple of days ago when I downloaded this image. Sorry, but I forgot to take a photo of the Copic markers that I used. The leaves were die cut from paper that I had embossed and gone over with Distress Oxides, The crazed coffee drinker was colored with copics and edged with Distress Inks. A bit of Spectrum Noir Clear sparkle was added here and there.

Diagonal Gate Fold Card

This month our sponsor at Twisted Thursday is DigiStamps4Joy. I used the Shorthaired Cat and colored him with Copics topped with an alcohol sprayed cloth to make him textured.

Our optional twist is Autumn Colors. I always think of red and gold, the colors of the chrysanthemums that we always got for the fall football games.
This fun card fold came from a tutorial that my friend, Melanie,  kindly shared the link so I could try it.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope that if you are not a member of The Outlawz, that you do so. It's a bit tricky to get around for the first day or two but gets very easy after that. There are lots of us helpful types who can make it very easy. We have so many generous sponsors and great things that you can win.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog with Two Steaming Cups

Doing my best to keep up with the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

For this fall coffee card, I found some free coffee bubbles paper from Morguefile to use instead of designer paper. The cups and steam were die cut with MFT Die-Namics Hot Cocoa Cups (but, of course, we know these contain coffee). I colored the coffee and cups with Copic Markers, which was fun to do on non-Copic friendly colored paper. I added a tiny little stamp from CherryPink that I had never used with the "Friend" and cup all over the bigger cups. Then, I cut colored some papers with Distress Oxide inks and cut out the leaves with Fall Favorites from Yvonne Creations, and added a few clear Nuvo Crystal Drops over some of the bubbles.  And, I found a place for my newest fall ribbon.

But First, Coffee!

Another card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. What fun to finally be able to use all of the coffee related stamps and dies I have accumulated.

I cut out the cup using a Sizzix die and ran the band through an embossing folder. Went over all with Distress inks and backed with darker paper. I popped it up over DCWV Latte stack paper that I added a tiny bit of color with Prismacolor color pencils and then Nuvo Crystal Drops. The final step was to add a pretty bow.

Cozy Fall Coffee Time

The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop run by Amy Tsuruta continues. I decided to combine some tangling from the Zentangle® method with the challenge.
If you would like to read more about this, you can find the original tangled image over at my Zentangle blog. I will link it here as soon as I have done so since I am posting them at the same time.

Fall means a cozy time in the evening, after finishing all the required duties of the day, that a hot cup of coffee is the BEST!

I used the Tea Time die cut from Sizzix, Prismacolor colored pencils, Clear Stamps from Stampabilities, Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle, and the center dots are Nuvo Crystal Drops. Fall leaves were die cut from felt. The coffee cup handles and sentiment are popped with foam for some dimension.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall 2017

The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop run by Amy Tsuruta is up and going. I used the image, Brentwood Owl Hocus Pocus Coffee, to create my fall and coffee card. Amazing prizes are being offered. Do check it out!
I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image, added some leaves from a Cuttlebug die set with some Distress Oxide inks, spattered with Shimmer, and with some Nuvo Crystal Drops. The image is popped as is the front leaf. The papers come from a Doodlebug Design paper set called October 31st Pad.

By the way, I am a coffee lover 😍

Boy in Dungarees

This month our sponsor at Twisted Thursday is DigiStamps4Joy. I used Boy in Dungarees, and popped him up on a panel embossed with lots of leaves since our optional twist is leaf or leaves.
I used Distress Oxides over the embossing folder and colored the image with colored pencils.

Fall Leaves in Felt

The Three Amigos has a blog hop and a challenge for September. The theme is Falling For You named after the pretty paper pack that is available. I selected papers as close in color that I could.
I cut out felt leaves from a die cut set from Cuttlebug. Then I added a sentiment using the negative from a foiled print out from my Minc machine, did a bow with twine, and added some dew drops from The Robin's Nest.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

Shorthaired Cat on a Fence

This month our sponsor at Twisted Thursday is DigiStamps4Joy. I found this new digi, Shorthaired Cat, that I am having a lot of fun with. You may see him more than once this month!
Our optional twist is Fur, Fluff or Fins, so this was a good one to use. The background is an embossing folder swiped with Distress Oxide Inks, Mr. Cat was colored with Distress inks and colored pencils then popped up for dimension. The butterfly is a punch from Recollections. The flowers were made using Foamiran, and the gate is from Amy Design.

Kitty in a Teracotta Pot

We are so lucky to have one of Anne's beautifully drawn cats as our image for September over at The Outlawz Freebie Progressive Challenge.

The image was colored with Copics and edged with Distress Inks as were the other layers. The shape is a Framelits die from Stampin' Up, the flower is made with Foamarin, and a doily was added as well.
