I cut out felt leaves from a die cut set from Cuttlebug. Then I added a sentiment using the negative from a foiled print out from my Minc machine, did a bow with twine, and added some dew drops from The Robin's Nest.
Let's follow the path toward colorful and playful art together, learning as we go.

Fall Leaves in Felt
The Three Amigos has a blog hop and a challenge for September. The theme is Falling For You named after the pretty paper pack that is available. I selected papers as close in color that I could.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments!

Beautiful! Love the felt leaves! And your shaving cream background... perfect! So happy you're playing along with us over at Three Amigos!
ReplyDeleteI have been having fun using felt lately. I know it looks like the shaving cream, but it actually is gold foil. I really had a hard time getting it to show up at all in a photo. Thanks, Lisa :)
DeleteOh! I guess if I'd read more carefully I'd realize that was foiled, but it really does look like the shaving cream..lol... I still have to buy some foils... can't wait to play!
DeleteFoil works like a mirror when trying to take a picture. I agree it looks more like shaving cream because of the glare it gets. I can always bring my stuff if you ever want to play with foils again. I do have a fair amount, LOL! Just say so.
DeleteLove those felt leaves, Jean! This is a great card design! I bet the foil looks gorgeous in person! Thank you for sharing with us at Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenges!
ReplyDeleteFoil and other sparkly things just don't show up well in photos. I don't know if there might be a trick to take a better picture? Thanks for your kind comment, Susan!
