Chubby Love Feathers

I always love an "anything goes" for Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz. This gave me the opportunity to use this bird digital stamp, Chubby Love Feathers, from Sami Stamps. Isn't he just fun? I colored him with Copic markers, used my Copic air brush to make a matching flower, and added some Distress Inks to the edges of the die cut image.

Let it Pour!

Let's have a "water theme" this week for the optional twist for Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz. I love this little kitty, from Sami Stamps, using a flower for a hat. I thought it made for a nice rain bonnet! Stamps for rain and clouds are from Penny Black.

I Love Books

This week's optional twist for Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz, is to make a step card. I really like step cards and, since our sponsor is Sami Stamps, I used their sweet little boy (I love books) with loads of books stacked on the steps just waiting for him to read.
I used a free digital image from Tiddly Inks of a book that I resized several times and colored with different markers for interest.

Tulip Shaker Card

The optional twist this week for Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz is to "use dies". I used a die to cut out the shape of my opening for a shaker card. The pretty little image is from Sami Stamps and is called Tulip Easter Egg. It works nicely for a summery card as well.

Betty Boots Twisted Easel Card

This is a card that I made for my granddaughter. It is a twisted easel card and the image is Betty Boots from That Crafty Place. I used scalloped die cuts from Little B, and some Distress Inks for the edges.

Progressive Freebie Challenge

I had two things I wanted to work on today, so I combined them into one project. First, the image this month, from The Outlawz Progressive Freebie Challenge, comes from Jen of Blueberry Bear. If I could think of how, I would add a piece of straw between his teeth! Second, I wanted to do another Trifold Shutter card. I followed the instructions from Sandy Allnock. I also used a Bugaboo digital crow  that I resized a few times (you can find the third one hiding in the grass), some die cut grass, burlap and a few orange dots.

Summer Roses

Summer Time is the optional twist on Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz this week. Our sponsor is Sami Stamps, and what a fun collection of digi stamps to choose from. I have been playing with different coloring mediums lately and so I chose the image called beauty roses and used pan pastels. The background is cardstock run through an embossing folder with some Distress Inks. I also added a paper bow from a tutorial that I found on YouTube. Great way to use up those scraps!
