I'd Like to "BEE" at the Ocean

The optional twist this time for Twisted Thursday is Beach Babe!
This adorable little bee is at my favorite place to be. She is Bee Happy Ellie and is from our sponsor, Paper Nest Dolls, and I popped her up over an image that I downloaded copyright free from Pixabay. The sentiment was created on my computer and placed over the photo before printing. I added just a touch of Nuvo glimmer paste for the ocean wave foam.

Pig Time Vacation Adventures

Double Trouble Challenge #31 is a fun one this time. Lots of optional twist and turns and shares to take along the way. The main theme is Holiday/Vacation with the ideas of adding a sign and some embossing.
The embossed background was done with a We R Memory Keepers embossing folder, and swiped with some blue Distress Ink, The background photo came from a free site, Pixabay. The sign is a digi image from DeeDee's Digi images, and the vacationing pig is from Bugaboo and colored with Copics and gel pens. The clouds are die cut with Whimsy's Up in the Clouds.
Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge

Also sharing this with Pile this on Challenge #155 (Transportation and/or Vacations), and Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge #27 (Things with Wings). And, finally, shared with Catch the Bug Challenge Blog with a Bingo Board. I selected the center row across.
Thanks for stopping by!

Edited to add that this was a winner for Bugaboo!

Summertime

The optional twist this time for Twisted Thursday is Berries!
I love any kind of berries, and watermelon, all year long, but they are especially tasty in season during the early summer.

This sweet image is Watermelon Ellie from our sponsor, Paper Nest Dolls, and I popped her up over an image that I downloaded copyright free from Pixabay.

Powdered Peach Scones in my Future

Powdered Peach Scones is the prompt for June's challenge for Oddball Art Co. I find these challenges so much fun as the images are PNG's which means I can combine more than one.
I used:
Sweet Peaches Scones Cake Muffin Cobbler Desserts IMG536
Fortune Tellers Circus Magic Glass Ball Pastel Goth IMG476
Twisted Circus 12 Odd Oracles Zodiac Collection Scorpio IMG483

Oddball Art Co.

I used all of the above and a stencil as well. I made up the sentiment on my computer.
Thanks for the visit. Hope you'll join in on the fun!

Thinking of You

The Paper Smooches June Challenge has an inspirational photo. These colors were my mom's favorites, so I pulled out Pearl Alcohol Inks in pink and yellow to use on yupo paper for my background. While it was still tacky, I added some Deco foil in black. The stamping was done with Versafine Clair.

Paper Smooches stamps:
Butterflies = Graceful Beauties
Plant =Botanicals 2
Sentiment = Smooches

Nadia on Parchment

For the Progressive Freebie Challenge over at The Outlaws, we are fortunate to have MMedelIllustrations as our sponsor with this pretty image, Nadia. It made me think of a cameo and, since I have started parchment crafting, I wondered how this would look done by coloring on the back of parchment paper using an oval like a cameo has.

Using Polychromos on the back of the parchment leaves a very pale image and also reverses the image. The light blue on the embossed background flowers and edges of the oval backing is from a dusting of Distress Inks. The sentiment, white heat embossed, is from a set from Neat and Tangled, Square Thoughts. The tiny flower is an example of parchment craft. A few Nuvo drops finished up the card.

Thanks for coming by. I hope you will join us. Just click on the link above, or here,  to find out how!
