Pulling out the Alex Syberia Designs Gnomes again as I think they are so cute!. Colored with Copics and played with a background using The Stamps of Life dies for Slimline cards! Color by Copic.

Thankful

Time for some Double Trouble Challenge Blog #71 "All the Trimmings". A tic tac toe board was provided and I used the center down and the bottom across.

I used the Gina K Wreath Builder, Simon Says/Gina K Amazing Flowers, Karin Briushmarker Pro and Prismacolor Pencils, and a Darice embossing folder with Distress Inks. A few Nuvo Drops and gold thread finished up the card.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm also sharing this with:

You're a Doll

#57 for the Double Trouble Challenge Blog is all about our favorite childhood toy/s. Well, for me it was dolls. I had/have many! Never really took to the Raggedy Ann kind, but that's the image I had from Dee Dees Digis, which doesn't seem to be selling any longer. The sentiment is from Tiddly Inks.
Part of the challenge was to use Kraft, which I just love using. I used some Copics, Prismacolor pencils, and gel pens.

An option includes sharing with Crafting Happiness who has an "kids" theme going on!

Birthday Butterfly

Double Trouble Challenge Blog # 56!

A birthday card or scrapbook page, a tic tac toe ( Birthday, Things that Fly, Sponging) from the Joy of SetsTic Tac Toe Challenge , and some sponging, would go together to make for a nice presentation.

A bit of coloring on parchment, some embossing, and fun die cutting, then all placed on the top of a sponged stencil background!

Rain or Shine

Double Trouble Challenge Blog #55 is all about spring. Do look at all the fun things you can do to participate!

I have been having so much fun with my new stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, Follow the Rainbow (colored with Copics), and the fun clouds stencil, Clouds for Days (using Distress Inks).  I stamped then masked the image to add the background. Using the inspirational photo, I selected clouds, an umbrella, a puddle with clear Nuvo drops with matching raindrops, and the color lavender, one of my favorites!

As an additional challenge, we can share with Artsystamper Digitals Challenge #14, also about spring.

Also shared with Simon Says Stamps Blog Monday Challenge to create a scene. Mine is a rainy day scene!

Hello Friend

Double Trouble Challenge Blog, #53, is an anything goes, use your stuff/scraps, and share with a previous challenge partner. Not everything is necessary, so do check out all the details. I created a tag for this challenge.
I pulled out my newest stamps set, Stronger Together, from Simon Says Stamps, and heat embossed on some scraps of paper I had on my desk. I colored with metallic colored pencils and added some white gel pen details. The little hearts are popped and a few Nuvo drops were added for a bit more texture.

Shared with Crafting Happiness Challenges.

Thanks for stopping by!

Edited to add: National Goof Off Day and National Chip and Dip Day as an added fun play from our friends at Double Trouble as requested by my friend, Sue! I can't eat chips, so I played with some sugar free chocolate dip and nuts to make this silly face!

Welcome to Spring

Double Trouble Challenge #52 = One spring item using a punch or die or fussy cut, optional to add a bee or honeycomb, and finally you can share with Bitten by the Bug (no fussy cutting for them though).
My die cut is Paper Cut Bird from Sizzix. I had to use two different die cutting machines. First, I used my Big Shot and even with the Precision Base and many pass throughs, it wasn't cut all the way. So, off to my Gemini Jr. and with the added metal shim it went through. The little bee is from an Inkadoo set called Patterned Birds & Bugs. I added a bit of twine, a ribbon, and some Nuvo drops to say welcome to spring!

Lucky is a State of Mind

The Challenge #51 for the Double Trouble Challenge Blog requests green, gold, and a share with Heart2Heart. You don't have to do it all, but are eligible for more chances to win if you do.
I started off with an SVG 4 Leaf Clover easel card from My Scrap Chick and cut all the parts with my Scan n Cut. I used lots of different greens, and gold of course.

The stamps, embossed with Wow Metallic Rich, come from two sets from Close to My Heart. The bird and sunburst come from S1304, My Sunshine, and the heart comes from S1409, Family is Forever.

I made extra shamrocks and did some layering then added some triangular dots.

The sentiment came from a Tim Holtz Small Talk set.

Dinosaur Stacker

#50, over at the Double Trouble Challenge Blog, asks us to do a tall and skinny card. A stacker would be a nice touch, and an optional layout from Try Stampin' On Tuesday would make it extra fun. I selected to do all three:

I adore anything from Paper Smooches, so I decided to stack up some whimsical dinosaurs from the Cuteasaurus set. I colored using Copics and colored pencils and added the "sketch" as a highlight with a mask and Distress Inks. The sweet little hearts, from the same set (and the sentiment), were dotted with white gel pen for some added texture, and I created some grass with markers and pencils.

Also shared with the Paper Smooches challenge.

Thanks for stopping by!
Edited to add that I was one of the top three on Try Stampin on Tuesdays and on Double Trouble:

Say Cheese and Smile

Challenge #48 on the Double Trouble Challenge blog Say Cheese. Create something that makes you smile. Well, that would be my friends!

Also, you can use the sketch from Atlantic Heart Sketches #353. The first one I did was posted on Instagram, (sometimes I'm just too lazy to blog, LOL!) but this one I will post here on my blog.
The little camera is from Courture Creations, the frames were created using Sizzix Slide Mounts, the film strip came from a free download from Pixabay, the stencil is from Clarity Stamp, laughing women from Art Impressions colored with Copics and colored pencils, and I created the sentiment on my computer. For a final touch, I added some tiny enamel hearts. Love my friends and they DO make me smile.

One of the Top Three!

Make Art and Smile

# 48 for the Double Trouble Challenge Blog is "Say Cheese", or whatever makes you smile. Well, making anything with my art supplies makes me happy!
I get a digital magazine, Craftstamper, that offers all kinds of free digital images to play with, so I took four different ones and played on my iPad, Procreate, to create the basic image in 7 layers. Then, I added some colors and flower brushes and printed it on cardstock. Out came my colored pencils, gel pens, Distress Oxides, some glitter pen and a bit of sewing machine stitching to complete the card. I used the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketches#352 for the layout. (An optional part of the challenge. A third option is to add a food item that makes you happy, but I skipped that one this time.)

Warm Hugs

Challenge #47 on the Double Trouble Challenge blog is all about what makes you warm. Add some embossing and/or link up with Stinkin' Inkers!
Dimension view from top
What could keep you warmer than a scarf, hat, sunshine, and a nice hug?

Isn't this the cutest group of snowmen? These are from the new release from Paper Smooches , Winter Greetings. I colored them with Copics. The display card was made with a WindowRama Cutting Die from Stampendous!

Lots of embossing going on here. The snowflakes, from the same stamp set, were heat embossed with white. The snowy banks were heat embossed with chunky white embossing enamel from Stampendous, the sun was dry embossed on gold cardstock then die cut.

Glitzy Warm Wishes

Challenge #43 on the Double Trouble Challenge blog is asking for some glitz or glimmer with and optional snowman and a  link to the Cupcake Inspirations Blog.
I made a really big tag using Cutplorations dies. The tree, Penny Black Winter Tree, is really sparkly in person where I embossed with Holographic embossing powder from Ranger. The snowman and flakes, colored with Copics, are from a set from Art Impressions/Hampton Arts and cut with the included dies. The snow was created using puff paint that I sprayed with Rock Candy glitter and heat set to make it puff. The snowman is popped, and the final tag, Lawn Fawn (newer sets are stitched), was added with some ribbon.

Happy Halloween

Let's have some fun with Masking! Optionally, add something you might find in a pumpkin patch over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog #40
Then, if you've used the optional challenge, join up with Kat Scrappiness!
The masking was done on the background panel. I use removable Contact paper to make my masks. The leaves, Stampers Anonymous Pressed Foliage, were stamped many times using different colors and different brands of inks until I was happy.

Those fun little Halloween trick-or-treat cuties, colored in Copics then fussy cut, come from a set by Avery Elle, Peek-a-boo-Pals Spooktacular. And, the Picket Fence Border Die comes from Taylored Expression.

Think Pink

I have so enjoyed being the Crazy Cousin this month over at the Double Trouble Challenge Blog! For Challenge # 39, use your stuff and think pink!

This time to use "stuff" you have in your stash (new and old).

Optionally, since October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Think Pink and make pink your prominent color choice.

And, finally as an optional Double Dare, link up your project with any of our previous partner(s) below for extra chances to our Random Draw. Make sure you read their guidelines carefully and observe their dates. We don't want you to get into Trouble with them.

This means: each time you link with a previous partner, or multiple partners with the same card, you gain additional chances for each partner challenge you entered. Please make sure you identify them in your blog along with our Double Trouble link.

The Joy of Sets - TicTacToe

I am so enjoying the new to me craft of parchment crafting. (embossing and coloring on parchment/vellum) I especially love using the Groovi System introduced by Clarity Stamps as a way for newbies to easy into this wonderful craft. Do look into it and please send me any questions as I am a great enabler, LOL! Here's a link to Barbara Gray with a written demo. And, here's one that has a video.

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you over at Double Trouble!

Mad For Plaid

Enjoying being the Crazy Cousin again for the Double Trouble Challenge #38!

This time, choose your favorite plaid (Buffalo, Scottish, Tartan, Gingham, Checkered, Argyle, etc,) and use any patterned papers, stamps or techniques to add some interest to your work.

Optionally, include a tag and/or frame of any shape on your project, and/or, if you used a "Tag and/or Frame" you are eligible to enter your project at Use Your Stuff and earn an additional chance for Double Trouble's random draw.

CLICK HERE for the direct link to enter your project.

I did an overlay of the image (Bugaboo Digi Stamp, Rag Monkey, retired) with a printed shadow before I printed using We Are 3 Digital Paper, Shabby - Plaid
Then I added a fussy cut colored (Albrecht Durer, Faber Castell, watercolor pencils) duplicate image over the top.
.
Finally, some Nuvo Crystal Drops and a Decorative Tag by Gina K with my own sentiment finished the card.

Thanks for your visit and I hope you will join in on the fun!

With Apologies to Dean Martin

Thanks for having me as the crazy cousin for the Double Trouble Challenge Blog #37!

This time, the challenge is to create a fall theme centered around trees, leaves, acorns, pumpkins, or other fall themed ideas you may have.
Optionally, you can add a Fall Sweet Treat in your project...caramel apples, candy corn, pumpkin pie, hot cocoa, marshmallows, and s'more.

As a double dare, if you have created a fall card you are eligible to enter your project in The Papergirls Challenge "Falling in Love".
CLICK HERE  for the direct link to enter your project.

I used a digital image from Little Scraps of Heaven. Then, I turned to Pixabay for the background and the PNG of a piece of pumpkin pie and added the "altered" lyrics. Liquid Pearls were used for the whipped cream and moon beams, and the coloring was completed with PrismaColor colored pencils.

Thanks for stopping by. I truly enjoy reading any comments you might find the time to leave for me! Hope you'll join us!
