Welcome to Spring
Double Trouble Challenge #52 = One spring item using a punch or die or fussy cut, optional to add a bee or honeycomb, and finally you can share with Bitten by the Bug (no fussy cutting for them though).
My die cut is Paper Cut Bird from Sizzix. I had to use two different die cutting machines. First, I used my Big Shot and even with the Precision Base and many pass throughs, it wasn't cut all the way. So, off to my Gemini Jr. and with the added metal shim it went through. The little bee is from an Inkadoo set called Patterned Birds & Bugs. I added a bit of twine, a ribbon, and some Nuvo drops to say welcome to spring!

DeleteWhat a beautiful die and well worth putting it through a couple die cut machines to get the detail, and love your little framed bee...the navy/black against the purple background is stunning. Thanks for sharing with us Double Trouble and Bitten By The Bug.

Deletelovely! so unique all that wonderful purple and a pop of yellow! when I was a kid that was my favorite color combo! I had a yellow shirt I wore with purple pants and I would use the purple version of Love's Baby soft when I wore it! Thanks for bringing back those lovely memories and the inspiration for this color combo!
