Lucky is a State of Mind

The Challenge #51 for the Double Trouble Challenge Blog requests green, gold, and a share with Heart2Heart. You don't have to do it all, but are eligible for more chances to win if you do.
I started off with an SVG 4 Leaf Clover easel card from My Scrap Chick and cut all the parts with my Scan n Cut. I used lots of different greens, and gold of course.

The stamps, embossed with Wow Metallic Rich, come from two sets from Close to My Heart. The bird and sunburst come from S1304, My Sunshine, and the heart comes from S1409, Family is Forever.

I made extra shamrocks and did some layering then added some triangular dots.

The sentiment came from a Tim Holtz Small Talk set.

  1. Easel cards are always so elegant, and such a lovely design choice to make a wreath with the clovers. The green and gold pair beautifully on your card.

    1. Thanks, Melanie. It was the only thing I had that had Shamrocks and I thought, with St. Patrick's Day around the corner that's where I wanted to go.

  7. Jean - wow! I have made easel cards in the past and they aren't the easiest to do, especially when the outline isn't a standard shape. Your selection of images and the sentiment are perfect for St. Patrick's Day. Thanks for sharing with us at H2H :)
