Double Trouble Challenge Blog, #53, is an anything goes, use your stuff/scraps, and share with a previous challenge partner. Not everything is necessary, so do check out all the details. I created a tag for this challenge.
I pulled out my newest stamps set,
Stronger Together, from Simon Says Stamps, and heat embossed on some scraps of paper I had on my desk. I colored with metallic colored pencils and added some white gel pen details. The little hearts are popped and a few Nuvo drops were added for a bit more texture.

Thanks for stopping by!
Edited to add:
National Goof Off Day and National Chip and Dip Day as an added fun play from our friends at Double Trouble as requested by my friend, Sue! I can't eat chips, so I played with some sugar free chocolate dip and nuts to make this silly face!
This is gorgeous! LOVING the colors and the flowers!
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to break out a new stamp set. Thanks, Julie!
DeleteJean, it's amazing what you did with your scraps to create such a pretty tag! The gel pen additions really dress it up, too! I wish I had the talent to know when gel accents would make such a difference on my own cards!!! Thank you for sharing your creative talents with us at Double Trouble!!! -Donna
ReplyDeleteDonna, a pleasure to see you over at Double Trouble. Thank you for the sweet comment!
DeleteGreat coloring and using the white pen for your highlights, beautiful and love all the scraps of design papers you used and the bright red tie is striking. I hardly ever make tags, but a tag like this is a card too so serves two purposes...beautiful. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Crafting Happiness. Now, for a real challenge, get your favorite chips out, (well for you, choose a favorite snack that fits with your diet) and would love you to celebrate with us at our National Goof-Off Day and share a Chip Shape. I know you can do it...lol http://doubletroublechallenge.blogspot.com/2020/03/fun-challenge-national-goof-off-day-and.html
ReplyDeleteYou are so kind and always encouraging, Sue. I have thought and thought about it and so far, no light bulb for making something our of a handful of mixed nuts, which is the only snack I get...poor me, LOL!
DeleteGreat tag! Thank you so much for playing along in our Crafting Happiness Challenge this week. Hope you’ll link up again!

DeleteCan't stop laughing...you're a nut. I was surprised with the sugar free chocolate dip. Is that Freddie? Hope this doesn't scare people away. Still laughing and thanks for sharing your pile of nuts and humor with us at Double Trouble...I knew you would come up with something.
ReplyDeleteI thought I should share my pile of nuts with another pile of nuts....the ones that came up with this fun challenge :)
DeleteThat white gel pen adds so much interest to your tag - love the images you selected. Now the non-chip... that is just so "sweet" - love the face. Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble :)
ReplyDeleteThank you, Alyson. The non-chip was the best I could do with the kinds of foods we have around here :)
DeleteOMG! I could eat your chocolaty snake all day long, Jean!!! He looks so yummy! Thanks for playing along with our snack challenge at Double Trouble this week!!! -Donna
