Masculine VW Bug Card

The optional twist this time for Twisted Thursday on the Outlawz, is "masculine". I used this fun car image from our sponsor  LeAnn's World 101, called Beattle Bug!
I created a side step easel card. The fun car papers and ephemera are from Echo Park. The "bug" was colored with Copics and Prismacolor colored pencils with a bit of clear gel pen on the headlights. It was popped to the front of the card.

I especially enjoyed doing this as I have more than one lovely memory of times spent with family and friends in the past that had yellow VW's!

Thanks for visiting. I do enjoy reading your comments!

So Fairy Cute

Double Trouble Challenge Blog, with #22, must have been reading my mind! I got a new stamp set from Paper Smooches and was just itching to use it!
With a tic-tac-toe board (middle across is the one I chose), a bit of "magic", and a link to Use Your Stuff, Challenge #348, I was ready to create.

This new set is called So Fairy Cute. I used Copics to color, a bit of dye inks, and some Nuvo Sparkle pen.  It all went on a Stephanie Barnard step die I am feeling the magic!

Loved making this adorable little bear. Hope you'll join in on the fun, and thanks for stopping by!

I'm Okay, I Have Caffeine!

For day two of the Coffee Lovers Blog hop, I worked with this cute image from Pink and Main called "Need Coffee"!
I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image and placed her on a double sided step card. The papers are from my stash, and the little "to go" cup is from Recollections.

Thanks for stopping by, and I love reading your comments!

For day two of the Coffee Lover's Bloghop, I chose to create a side step card.
The image comes from Adorn It, called Coffee Time. I used Zig Brushables, some Really Reasonable ribbon, left over Gelli printed papers, foam flower, and some Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Thanks for stopping by. I am really enjoying all the nice comments that are being left along this blog hop! I'm also enjoying seeing all the fun works that you all have created along the way.

Spring is in the Air

Spring is in the air! That's the optional twist on Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz. I selected this fun image from our sponsor, Bugaboo, called Fireman SB Cat Tree, and put it together in a side-step card with lots of die cut spring flowers and a few yellow enamel dots. The sentiment, which should be purrfect, is from Little Yellow Bicycle.

St. Patrick's Day Side Step Card

There is a new group on Facebook called Cre8tive Hands Fans. In order to show support for my friend Julie, I have completed this side step card (Sizzix) using this cute image, Cat with Hat, that was provided. I also use a Gina Marie Die to cut out the image.

Fancy Pants Loves Copics and Snowmen

This is one of my favorite images ever. Why, because from our sponsor, My Besties, AND because I do Love My Copics. Unfortunately, I failed to take a photo of the colors I used this time, but they were Copics!

The image is Fancy Pants Loves Copics. Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz, for the optional snowman theme. As you can see, she colored with joy LOL! I used some circle dies to cut out the snowmen and used foam dots to lift them off of the sides of this side step card. The sentiment is from Hero Arts, the die cut circle for the sentiment is from Little B Scallops. The top arch on the main image was made with a Spellbinders cutting template.  I used Distress Inks for edging, added a ribbon, and a few turquoise pearls. (The photo shows them as a green, but they really do match the other blues.)

Birdbrain Decks the Halls

Over at From the Heart Stamps the progressive challenge for November has started. I just love this "birdbrain" character! I did side step card and fussy cut the bird. The single ornament, also fussy cut from the original, is popped up on foam and I added a few enamel dots. The sentiment is one of many that comes with the set. I added a bit of Wink of Stella and white gel pen for highlights.

Ellie Campervan Side Step Card

This week for Twisted Thursday, over at The Outlawz, the optional twist is "Transportation". One of my favorite things to do is hop into my hubby's vehicle and be "transported" just about anywhere. We always have a good time!
I made a side-step card and used this sweet little elephant couple, Ellie Campervan, from our sponsor, Stitchy Bear. I cut up some maps for DP and added some Wink of Stella and a bit of bling. Notice the license plate U N Me!

I Love Books

This week's optional twist for Twisted Thursday over at The Outlawz, is to make a step card. I really like step cards and, since our sponsor is Sami Stamps, I used their sweet little boy (I love books) with loads of books stacked on the steps just waiting for him to read.
I used a free digital image from Tiddly Inks of a book that I resized several times and colored with different markers for interest.

Diver Daniel

My dear friend, Janet (do check out her sweet card!), has gotten me into do the challenge from Deedee's Digis. I'm really glad she did. What a cute image that I got for this month, plus I found more that I just HAD to have LOL! I used a side step card for this little duck. I added some Wink of Stella, Glossy Accents, and a bit of white gel pen for highlights. A bit of Salty Ocean Distress inks were added to the edges. I used wave like scissors for some of the pieces, fussy cut part of the duck and rock formation.

Ppinkydolls Another Gift Side Step Card

I used Copics to color her and added some Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents. The sentiment is embossed and the back layer of this side step card is an embossed Christmas Tree with Distress Inks, Gold Wink of Stella and Strickles for the red balls and tree star. A bit of ribbon and a bow finish off the card.
