Thank You in Fall Colors with Paper Smooches Stamps

Just had to do one more card for Paper Smooches. The November challenge is Fall.
For the background, I used fall colors of Distress Oxides on Bristol paper with splattered Shimmer spray. I embossed different leaves in gold from the very versatile Botanicals 2 stamp set and then added the sentiment in a darker gold from the Delightful Greetings set. A few Nuvo Crystal drops were added to the centers of the orange flowers.

Thanks for stopping by, and a special thanks to all that leave comments!

Fall Shopping List

This month FALL is the challenge over at Paper Smooches!

Am I the only one who thinks of food? I'll bet not, LOL! So, I grabbed the Paper Smooches Paper Die, cut it out using a file card, and made my list.
The orange and striped papers are from Pink & Main Pumpkin Spice pack. The next layer is Distress Oxide Inks through a leaves stencil. Added a bit of the inks to the note with some cute little check marks from the Clipboards Two set, rolled a corner and popped the note up. I added a little bow and some orange Nuvo Crystal Drops.

I also shared this with the November Paper Sweeties Challenge. I was inspired by the first inspiration card with the "Eat Pie"!

Thank you for taking the time to drop by, and I always love reading your comments!

Fall Greetings From the General Store

We are so lucky to have an image from Createful Hearts Digis for October over at The Outlawz Freebie Progressive Challenge. This image is called General Store and has such a nice inviting fall look to it.

I used Distress markers over an embossed folder from Darice, added a strip of yellow felt to the left side topped with a leaf from a Cuttlebug die cut (covered with Distress Inks and several Nuvo Drops in clear), and popped up the image. I added some clear gel pen over the windows and some Wink of Stella over the pumpkins. The fall greetings was created using my Minc and gold foil.

Just Try to Take my Coffee Away!

Well, today is the penultimate day for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. (Sorry, just one of my favorite words and I never find a place to use it, LOL!)
I just love the images from Sarah Trumpp from Wonderstrange. Unfortunately, the site seems to have been hacked since a couple of days ago when I downloaded this image. Sorry, but I forgot to take a photo of the Copic markers that I used. The leaves were die cut from paper that I had embossed and gone over with Distress Oxides, The crazed coffee drinker was colored with copics and edged with Distress Inks. A bit of Spectrum Noir Clear sparkle was added here and there.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog with Two Steaming Cups

Doing my best to keep up with the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

For this fall coffee card, I found some free coffee bubbles paper from Morguefile to use instead of designer paper. The cups and steam were die cut with MFT Die-Namics Hot Cocoa Cups (but, of course, we know these contain coffee). I colored the coffee and cups with Copic Markers, which was fun to do on non-Copic friendly colored paper. I added a tiny little stamp from CherryPink that I had never used with the "Friend" and cup all over the bigger cups. Then, I cut colored some papers with Distress Oxide inks and cut out the leaves with Fall Favorites from Yvonne Creations, and added a few clear Nuvo Crystal Drops over some of the bubbles.  And, I found a place for my newest fall ribbon.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall 2017

The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop run by Amy Tsuruta is up and going. I used the image, Brentwood Owl Hocus Pocus Coffee, to create my fall and coffee card. Amazing prizes are being offered. Do check it out!
I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image, added some leaves from a Cuttlebug die set with some Distress Oxide inks, spattered with Shimmer, and with some Nuvo Crystal Drops. The image is popped as is the front leaf. The papers come from a Doodlebug Design paper set called October 31st Pad.

By the way, I am a coffee lover 😍

Fall Leaves in Felt

The Three Amigos has a blog hop and a challenge for September. The theme is Falling For You named after the pretty paper pack that is available. I selected papers as close in color that I could.
I cut out felt leaves from a die cut set from Cuttlebug. Then I added a sentiment using the negative from a foiled print out from my Minc machine, did a bow with twine, and added some dew drops from The Robin's Nest.

Progressive Freebie Challenge with Gerda Steiner Image

For the Progressive Freebie Challenge over at the Outlawz, I printed out this cute fall image, A Big Load from Gerda Steiner, colored it and then used my new Scan n Cut 2 machine to cut it out. I designed the fence myself, online, then sent it to my machine and cut it out. I used my Copic airbrush to fill in and then added details. I found a free tree image online, moved it into Word and resized it, then printed it out and cut it with my new machine. The background is done with Copic airbrush. The little boy is popped up.
So, this is my $300 card LOL! (I bought the Scan n Cut from the Home Shopping Network - It took me several days to figure out how to move an image from my computer to the machine, but I think I will enjoy using it.)
