Love Coffee

Little Acres Creations is having a wonderful Blog Hop along with the the Coffee Loving Cardmakers to celebrate their Birthday! After following along the blog hop for inspiration, participants should create something with a Coffee and/or Nature Theme and add them to both sites.
The "Love Coffee" comes from a printable from My Scrap Chick. I ran it through my Minc machine with gold foil, (which, most of you know, does not photograph well so use your imagination) and then went over it with inks from Gina K. A few Nuvo Crystal Drops and a tiny pink heart were added for texture.

Congratulations and Coffee

My dear friend is graduating with her Doctorate degree. I am so proud that I could burst. I don't get to see her much since she moved, but we always meet up for coffee when she is in town. I wanted to send her a congratulations with a reminder of our happy times over a cuppa!

Kitty in a Cup

Our sponsor this month is My Creative Scoop. I selected this kitty in a cup for the Anything Goes over at  Twisted Thursday.
I colored the image with Prismacolor colored pencils (and made him to look like my own cat, Charlie), die cut the circle for the image and made a circle card base. The sentiment comes from Newton's Nook, Newton Loves Coffee.

Mindy, My Creative Scoop, has lots of Copic marker information, classes, and free digis like this little giraffe. Do pay her a visit!

Coffee Cup In Stitches

I am so loving this month's newest release from Paper Smooches and just had to do one more card for the monthly challenge.
I used the In Stitches stamps and the cup, colored with Copics, from the Embroidery Hoop die set. The background hearts were stamped with the same stamp set on white. The  frame die, Antique Frame, comes from Penny Black.

Warm Holiday Wishes

Day two on the  Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop:
This certainly was a lot of fun to do. I started with some corrugated cardboard from a box and added it to a card base. I also used some on the sleeve for the cup, die cut using a Sizzix Tim Holts BigZ. Behind the popped up cup, I used some cardboard from a box of K cups, and all were treated to some Distress Inks and water sploshes. The sentiment comes from Lawn Fawn, the coffee beans are from Stampabilities, and the snowflakes, well I don't remember. If anyone does, please let me know because they are such a nice collection of small snowflake dies. A tiny bow from glittery twine finishes off this card.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and Three Amigos Blog Hop

The Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop has started and I am excited to see all of the fun coffee related cards showing up. This digital coffee cup, colored with watercolor pencils and fussy cut and popped up, is from Limited Run, one of the generous sponsors for this hop. I added some embossed candles from Paper Smooches, and a sentiment from Art Impressions.
Also, this month, the Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge is Silver and Gold.  Do take a look at the beautiful papers and follow along on the blog posts for inspiration! This seemed like a good time to combine two challenges. I do like the look of shiny papers, but they are so difficult to take a decent photo of. I went all over the house trying to take a picture that didn't show me in the reflection. There must be a trick that I don't know!

Altered Vintage Ad for Coffeepot

Well, today is the last day for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I certainly enjoyed this hop and met a lot of new creative people along the way.
I searched for free vintage coffee pot images and I selected this one. It was in a pale yellow, but I added lots of Prismacolor colored pencils to give it that fall look. I also added some Distress Oxide covered leaves,  and some Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest.

Just Try to Take my Coffee Away!

Well, today is the penultimate day for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. (Sorry, just one of my favorite words and I never find a place to use it, LOL!)
I just love the images from Sarah Trumpp from Wonderstrange. Unfortunately, the site seems to have been hacked since a couple of days ago when I downloaded this image. Sorry, but I forgot to take a photo of the Copic markers that I used. The leaves were die cut from paper that I had embossed and gone over with Distress Oxides, The crazed coffee drinker was colored with copics and edged with Distress Inks. A bit of Spectrum Noir Clear sparkle was added here and there.

Fall Coffee Lovers Blog with Two Steaming Cups

Doing my best to keep up with the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

For this fall coffee card, I found some free coffee bubbles paper from Morguefile to use instead of designer paper. The cups and steam were die cut with MFT Die-Namics Hot Cocoa Cups (but, of course, we know these contain coffee). I colored the coffee and cups with Copic Markers, which was fun to do on non-Copic friendly colored paper. I added a tiny little stamp from CherryPink that I had never used with the "Friend" and cup all over the bigger cups. Then, I cut colored some papers with Distress Oxide inks and cut out the leaves with Fall Favorites from Yvonne Creations, and added a few clear Nuvo Crystal Drops over some of the bubbles.  And, I found a place for my newest fall ribbon.

But First, Coffee!

Another card for the Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. What fun to finally be able to use all of the coffee related stamps and dies I have accumulated.

I cut out the cup using a Sizzix die and ran the band through an embossing folder. Went over all with Distress inks and backed with darker paper. I popped it up over DCWV Latte stack paper that I added a tiny bit of color with Prismacolor color pencils and then Nuvo Crystal Drops. The final step was to add a pretty bow.

Cozy Fall Coffee Time

The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop run by Amy Tsuruta continues. I decided to combine some tangling from the Zentangle® method with the challenge.
If you would like to read more about this, you can find the original tangled image over at my Zentangle blog. I will link it here as soon as I have done so since I am posting them at the same time.

Fall means a cozy time in the evening, after finishing all the required duties of the day, that a hot cup of coffee is the BEST!

I used the Tea Time die cut from Sizzix, Prismacolor colored pencils, Clear Stamps from Stampabilities, Spectrum Noir Clear Sparkle, and the center dots are Nuvo Crystal Drops. Fall leaves were die cut from felt. The coffee cup handles and sentiment are popped with foam for some dimension.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Fall 2017

The Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop run by Amy Tsuruta is up and going. I used the image, Brentwood Owl Hocus Pocus Coffee, to create my fall and coffee card. Amazing prizes are being offered. Do check it out!
I used Prismacolor colored pencils to color the image, added some leaves from a Cuttlebug die set with some Distress Oxide inks, spattered with Shimmer, and with some Nuvo Crystal Drops. The image is popped as is the front leaf. The papers come from a Doodlebug Design paper set called October 31st Pad.

By the way, I am a coffee lover 😍

Pour Me Another Hot Cup 'O Joe

Challenge #25 over at Twofers is The Heat is On. I love my coffee, and I love it really hot. I have been known to send coffee back if it doesn't burn going down LOL!
I used Copic colors E33-34-37, N1, RV00-10-11-23. Distress inks over clear embossed heat swirls. The image and sentiment come from Clear Stamps, Latte Love. I used a clear gel pen over the coffee and the spoon. The corrugate paper comes from Fabrique. Enamel dots finish it off.
