Coffee Lovers Bloghop Fall/Winter Day One

I am hoping that joining in on this, always fun, Coffee Lovers Bloghop will get me back to posting. I could never have anticipated how disruptive moving and various life events could be. But, I'm happy to join in on this fun hop!

For day one I created a slimline card using a Hero Arts Stamp set, and the Stamps of Life Snowflake die cut for the background. A few Nuvo drops and Tulip puffy fabric paint completed the card.

Christmas Cutie

We are having a Sponsor Appreciation Month for Twisted Thursday as a thank you to all the generosity that allows us to share our creations with all of you
This time, for an anything goes challenge, I have selected this sweet Christmas image from LeAnn's World 101. This was a freebie from last December, but there is a similar one available.

I colored her with Copics and added some fine line pens, and colored pencils. Then, I added some Nuvo in glitter on the hat pom pom and clear on the ornament.

Some fancy die cut layers (some popped), some fussy cutting of the image, and a few gold embellishments finished the card.

That fun background was created by using a stencil from Rubbernecker called Squares and Rectangle and ink.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will check out all of the sponsors that have supported us this year!

Fleas Navidad

The December Paper Smooches challenge is all about ribbons! I so love the Santa Paws set, and couldn't resist pulling it out to make a special card for my sister-in-law who has a dog that looks just like this one!

I used Copics for the coloring and added some white gel pen.

The background was created using Faber Castell Glass Bead Glitter Gel through a Simon Says Falling Snow Stencil.

The word bubble is also from Paper Smooches. The fluffy parts of the hats and pants are Nuvo Glitter Accents. And, finally, that glorious big bow is from a roll I picked up at Michaels recently.

Thanks for visiting. I love reading your comments!

Spinner Card

Fun spinner card that I created myself. Here are three pictures showing some of the different things that will show up in the circle:
Had to rip this apart more than once, LOL! The stamps are from Waffle Flower, Cookie Time, as is the sentiment. Some Nuvo drops were added for some extra fun.

I created this for the Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenges #20, Interactive Cards!

Christmas in July

The July challenge for Paper Smooches is Christmas in July. And, Through the Craftroom Door, has a pretty sketch, so I combined the challenges.
The image, colored with Copics, is from The Chubby Chum Pals and I used the matching dies and popped it on the card. The fun ric rac was cut from the Borders 3 die set. The stitched flags are from C.C Designs, and the papers all came from Gina K Designs. The sentiment came from the Chubby Chum Pals set, and I added three jingle bell brads from my stash.

Warm Holiday Wishes

Day two on the  Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop:
This certainly was a lot of fun to do. I started with some corrugated cardboard from a box and added it to a card base. I also used some on the sleeve for the cup, die cut using a Sizzix Tim Holts BigZ. Behind the popped up cup, I used some cardboard from a box of K cups, and all were treated to some Distress Inks and water sploshes. The sentiment comes from Lawn Fawn, the coffee beans are from Stampabilities, and the snowflakes, well I don't remember. If anyone does, please let me know because they are such a nice collection of small snowflake dies. A tiny bow from glittery twine finishes off this card.

Paper Sweeties Homespun Holiday Card

I saw the wonderful inspiration photo for this month's Paper Sweeties Anything Goes Challenge and I just had to jump in.
I was inspired by the items in a row, which I did but vertically, the red/brown/green combo, and the holiday season.

I used the Sweet Cuts, Homespun Holiday. (The link goes to the dies. I couldn't find the stamp set.) I stamped in black Versamark and heat set the little hearts. The sentiment comes from the same set.

Christmas Ornaments on an Easel Card

This set of pretty Christmas ornaments was provided to us from the very talented Sandra Van Blaricum for our December Progressive Freebie Challenge over at The Outlawz. I created an easel card.
The Merry Christmas embossing folder was topped with Distress Inks. The die cuts were made a long time ago and I can't find the die any longer to tell you who it is from. Sure wish I could find it, especially at Christmas card making season! The Copic colored ornaments were cut with my Scan n Cut and some Nuvo Crystal Drops were added before popping them on the top of the card. The included sentiment was also popped up to hold the card open. Finally, the little Rudolph button was added for a touch of whimsy.

Snowy Penguin Scene Christmas Card

I picked up this cute stamp set from Recollections this week and had to create a snowy scene for this sweet penguin. I also used a small tree stamp from Impression Obsession.
Papers are from an older Paper Studio pack called A Very Merry Christmas. The hills were cut with a Lawn Fawn set and layered. I added some snowflakes by embossing in white over little dots made with an embossing pen. The fluffier snow is embossed chunky white from Stampendous. The sentiment came with the set.

Accordion Folded Christmas Card

This month, the Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge is "Beary Christmas. Do take a look at the beautiful inspiration! I just loved the tiny patterned paper with the trees. I didn't have it in that color, but I had some similar paper in blue that I used to make this card.
Unusual for me not to do any coloring, but I really wanted to play with this accordion fold from SplitCoastStampers called a Panel Pull-out. Here is what it looks like from the top.

Christmas Pixie

Tiddly Inks has a challenge up on their blog with three themes to enter and win! The options are Floral, Girly Girl, and Anything Goes.  For this card, I chose "Floral", and used the adorable Christmas Pixie Stamp and the poinsettias are my flowers.
Copic Colors Used
I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops, glitter gel pens, ribbon, and a glittered star from my stash. I cut out one of the poinsettias to pop up on the card.
