Christmas in July

The July challenge for Paper Smooches is Christmas in July. And, Through the Craftroom Door, has a pretty sketch, so I combined the challenges.
The image, colored with Copics, is from The Chubby Chum Pals and I used the matching dies and popped it on the card. The fun ric rac was cut from the Borders 3 die set. The stitched flags are from C.C Designs, and the papers all came from Gina K Designs. The sentiment came from the Chubby Chum Pals set, and I added three jingle bell brads from my stash.

Steampunked Card

The optional twist this week at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz, is "Anything Goes"! Always a favorite! Our sponsor this month is Through the Craft Room Door
I decided to go Steampunk with a card, just for fun. I used an embossing folder, papers with clocks (some cut and popped up), and Distress Inks to put this together. All it needs is the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, LOL!

Distress It

The optional twist this week at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz, is "Distress It"! Our sponsor this month is Through the Craft Room Door.
I may have overdone it with "distress", but I distressed the papers and even wrinkled and curled up the purple paper. I used Distress Inks to color the flower (Stampin' Up). The butterfly is from Heartfelt creations, I added Distress Inks to some butterfly ribbon I had and a bit of copper glitter around the edges of the card.

For the Birds!

The optional twist this week at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz, is "For the Birds"! Our sponsor this month is Through the Craft Room Door. The flowers were created from a Heartfelt Creations set of roses and the hummingbird (popped up with double foam tape) is one of my oldest stamps, probably my very first. The die cuts are from Spellbinders, and I used Distress Inks for the flowers and Prismacolor pencils for the bird. The center of the flowers were dotted with Liquid Pearls. A bit of Wink of Stella went on the hummingbird and flowers.

Young Gardner Gate Folded Card

I am honored to have been selected as a guest designer for Through the Craft Room Door this week. If you have never checked out this site, please do. You'll find lots of talented and friendly people.
This image is from Just Inked and called Young gardener. The card uses a gate fold. I used my Copic markers and added some clear, silver, and gold Wink of Stella for some bling.
