I enjoyed making these flowers so much. They were stamped on heavy vellum, die cut with matching dies, then heat embossed with white embossing powder (be careful, vellum can warp if you stay in one spot too long). A bit of color was added with inks and a blending sponge. The flowers were formed using a tool, or you can use the mold if you have one. The leaves were formed using a mold, but you can shape them yourself. There are a lot of good videos showing all the techniques for this style.
Isn't that butterfly amazing? I purchased the stamp and die cut, so I know you will see this again! Gasp! A bit expensive, but I got the stamp set for free from taking the class.
This is such a lovely technique with paper, and even more lovely using vellum. Hope you'll give it a try!
