The Coffee Lover's Bloghop Fall/Winter 2020 Day Seven & The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge

For the last day, seven, of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop, and for The Daily Marker Coloring Challenge, I used Jellibean Soup Stamps, and the Stamps of Life dies. I colored with Copics and colored pencils.

I have so enjoyed the coffee bloghop and will continue for the next several days of the Color Challenge from Kathy at The Daily Marker. I may only post on Instagram, however, as few people actually stop by my blog :) Hope you'll stop by again!

The Coffee Lover's Bloghop Fall/Winter 2020 Day Six - Coloring Challenge

For Day Six of the Coffee Lovers Bloghop, and for the Daily Marker Coloring Challenge, I had to play with the Magic Iris Die from Lawn Fawn, and stamps from Stamplorations, Coffee Happy. Coloring on cups = Copics.

Please scroll down to see the video!
Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow!

Let's Just Color Indoors and Stay Cool

Double Trouble, Challenge #7, is all about the dog days of summer. Thing one asks how you keep cool, Thing Two double dares us to link up with HeARTful Stamping Challenge, and Thing Three asks us to include something we like to eat or drink when it is hot outside. And, Paper Smooches has an anything goes challenge this month, and I'm also doing the Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Contest!  I think I've got it all in this one card!

In the hot summer, I just want to stay inside and play with colors! I also need to have a nice cold iced coffee nearby!
I had so much fun creating an easel to paint on. It even has a little ledge on the bottom! I used the Paper Smooches Paint Palette several layers deep so I could add some "paint" (Nuvo Crystal Drops). The painting, Stampabilities coffee cup, on the easel is colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens. The palette and easel were cut from Stampin' Up wood textures paper stack. The canvas is cut with Die-namics Wonky Stitched Rectangles, and the sentiment is from TimHoltz Small Talk.

Flowers from Power Poppy

I was able to fit a second card in for this week's Double Trouble , Challenge #6. Thing One asks for something, anything, or everything. Thing Two suggests we add our post to a previous partner. And, Thing Three asks us to decorate the inside of our card. Since The Three Amigos was already closed, I couldn't add this card even though it was embossed. You snooze, you lose, LOL!

These pretty flowers are from Power Poppy. I made them following along with the Kit and Clowder free class then fussy cut them. They are a mixture of Copics, Prismacolor pencils, blending pen, and/or both marker and pencil. The embossing folder is from Tonic, ink from Gina K, and some sparkle pen on the centers and pearls finish the card.
Inside of Card
To add to the INSIDE of the card, I used the same set to emboss on yellow and added the complimentary sentiment. I had one flower left, so I added it to the inside.

Thanks for your visit.
Also added to The Daily Marker
coloring contest.

Edited to add that I was one of the top three:

Latch Card

I saw a tutorial today by Dina Kowal for Splitcoast Stampers on how to make a latch card today. I love her tutorials. I used my new Zig Clean Color brush pens on watercolor paper with a waterbrush for blending. I love the watercolor "sloppiness" that you can get with these. I wish I could afford all the colors! The latch is popped up on foam and creases are added to the back piece allowing for bending the card to open it easily.
I stamped the inside with the same image but in light Tattered Rose Distress Inks so that I could write my message over it.
This is also my coloring for day three of The Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge. My other pieces so far can be viewed on Instagram. I am jeanchaneyaz over there.
