I was able to fit a second card in for this week's
Double Trouble
, Challenge #6. Thing One
asks for something, anything, or everything. Thing Two suggests we add
our post to a previous partner. And, Thing Three asks us to decorate the
inside of our card. Since
The Three Amigos was already closed, I couldn't add this card even though it was embossed. You snooze, you lose, LOL!
These pretty flowers are from
Power Poppy. I made them following along with the Kit and Clowder
free class then fussy cut them. They are a mixture of Copics, Prismacolor pencils, blending pen, and/or both marker and pencil. The embossing folder is from Tonic, ink from Gina K, and some sparkle pen on the centers and pearls finish the card.

To add to the INSIDE of the card, I used the same set to emboss on yellow and added the complimentary sentiment. I had one flower left, so I added it to the inside.
Thanks for your
visit.
Also added to
The Daily Marker
coloring contest.
Edited to add that I was one of the top three:
These flowers are so pretty the way you have colored them, Jean! I love everything about this card!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janet. It was fun to try the same image in so many different combos. I think my favorite is the one with just pencils!
DeleteBeautiful...what a mixture of pens and pencils you used and maybe that's why they look so dimensional...gorgeous. Thanks for sharing again with us at Double Trouble and sorry you missed out on Three Amigos.
ReplyDeleteI actually do have two of them popped, Sue. Guess I should have mentioned that, LOL! Thanks :)
DeleteThis is GORGEOUS! I am LOVING those flowers!!! And GUESS what I bought?!? Dominoes, inks and beads! Can you guess why!?!? LOL! :)
ReplyDeleteYay! So much fun. Oh, and thank you too!
DeleteBeautiful card - inside and out! The flowers are out of this world with so much dimension and color. Thank you for joining in the challenge fun at Double Trouble.
ReplyDeleteIt kind of put all the teachers together in my mind to come up with these, Melanie. Thank you!
DeleteThis is a beautiful card...the coloring is just gorgeous. Thanks for joining us at the Double Trouble Papercrafting Chalenge.
ReplyDeleteI truly appreciate your sweet comment, Tracey. I love to color a lot more than I like to actually turn something into a card, LOL!
DeleteCongrats on your Top Three win at Double Trouble Challenge!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for letting me know, Melanie! I will have to go grab my badge :)
