The optional twist this week over at
Twisted Thursday,
The Outlawz, is to make or use a tag. I love to put special tags on gifts for my family, so this one is for my granddaughter.
I used a manilla tag covered with several reds of Distress inks. A bit of water splatter was added and then some BoBunny glitter paste was added through a Christmas ornament stencil from Carta Bella. There is also a bit of Liquid Pearls and some Stickles. The reindeer, from
Bugaboo and called
Rudolph Presents, was put on top of some ripped green paper edged with white Distress ink. He has some Glossy Accents over his eyes and I added a small tag to the big tag. Finally, I added some gold cord from Hobby Lobby.

ReplyDeleteLOL, Katrina! I always seem to be going out wearing part of my projects. Especially once I start playing with glitter :)
DeleteYou guys...I found glitter in my suitcase! Yikes, I'm not sure if that is a good or bad thing! I prefer to think of it as Fairy Dust!
DeleteThis is FANTABULOUS, Jean! Now I have to get Bobunny glitter paste! I have some plain stuff, but I need shiny, glittery stuff like this! You're such an enabler...haha, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI have a few colors already, Janet. I just have to remember to use it. I have a bad habit of purchasing something and then not remembering what I got it for. LOL on the glitter comment above :)
DeleteJean such a cute tag such a fun image, your colouring is so lovely I love the brightness it make the tag really pop. Thank you for the lovely comments on my blog it is really nice that you visited. Big hugs to you Andrea

DeleteJean, your granddaughter is going to love this tag! It's so fun! That glitter paste ornament background turned out great! The tiny tag is a great touch, too!
ReplyDeleteI know she will love it, Carrie. She is one who appreciates something made special for her. Another family member throws my stuff in the trash. Guess who's not getting handmade this year? LOL!
