Rose Label

This pretty image, Rose Label Digital Stamp, is from our sponsor QKR Stamps,  Stamp On It. It fit nicely on a rounded edged die cut from Gina Marie Designs to go with our optional twist of rounding the corners over at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz.

I used Copic markers to color, added some Nuvo Sparkle pen to the ribbon and a few iridescent pearls. The colors are blended from the outer edges using Gina K inks. The sentiment is from Hero Arts CL351. I cut a second rounded edged rectangle in order to recess the sentiment and added another fussy cut flower from the original digital stamp.

Miss You Big Time!

This month's challenge for Paper Smooches is to use the Pantone color of the year, greenery, somewhere in your design.
I pulled out this adorable set of sweet big animals called Huge Hugs, and selected the elephant and the Miss You Big Time sentiment.

I added blue and green Distress Inks to make the forest background. The bottom shape was die cut with Paper Smooches set called Borders 3, and the elephant was colored with gray and pink Copics. A pretty ribbon gave him something to stand on. Both the elephant and sentiment are popped.

Free Hugs

I {heart} Sketches with a tWist #163 has a fun sketch to work, an optional twist of "Child's Play"., and an option of the colors gold, blue green, purple, and red. I selected the image Free Hugs and think I used all the options although I ran out of room for the bow. The image (cut with Gina Marie Dies) and banner are popped up with foam for some added dimension. The sentiment comes with the set.

I spent the morning making some foil covered, embossed, and painted background pieces. This one was painted with Tim Holtz Distress Paints in Vintage Photo. Below you can see the rest of the products I used.

Mushroom Fairy

Moongirl and Bird

This week the optional twist over at Twisted Thursday, The Outlawz, is to pick from a Tic Tack Toe chart. I picked the right column down for brads, ribbon, and tag. I used our sponsor, Ppinky Dolls,  sweet image Moongirl and Bird. The tag was clear embossed with a fasceted stamp from Neat and Tangled. I went over it with Distress Inks and Distress Crayons. The image was die cut with a Circle Die from our sponsor Gina Marie. I edged the circle with Distress Inks as well. The sentiment is from Tim Holtz Saying Stuff stamp set.  I added star brads and a big bow that I dyed with Copic markers to match the other yellows. A bit of black random stamping and some gold Stickles drops were added for texture.
