Zig Clean Color Real Brushes were used to color the giraffe. The embossed background is a Darice folder that was swiped with Powderpuff Chalk Inks for my first embossed element. For the second, the edges (cut with Penny Black's Antique Frames), I ran some of the chalk inks around the edges and then covered and heat embossed using clear embossing powder then popped the matted image. Some enamel dots (Large, Bella Blvd. and small, Whimsy), Nuvo red and black Crystal drops for the eyes and tongue, and a tiny glossed red bird from Memory Box finished up the card.
Thanks for dropping by. I always appreciate any comments that you leave.

Oh, this is so fun! He is adorable and the embossing is wonderful! Great use of chalks over the clouds; love it!ReplyDelete
Dragging with inks over embossed designs is one of my favorites for backgrounds, Katrina. One must find excuses to use some of those supplies that cram my crafting room, LOL! Thanks!Delete
This guy is adorable, Jean! I love your background with the clouds, so perfect for the sentiment!ReplyDelete
I agree...gotta use those supplies!
Thanks, Janet. I am in the process of trying to find room for more "stuff" around here. It's an ongoing battle to use it faster than I buy it, LOL!Delete
