Double Trouble and The Three Amigos Challenges

Double Trouble has one extra challenge this month, making this Challenge #6. Thing One asks for something, anything, or everything. Thing Two suggests we add our post to a previous partner. And, Thing Three asks us to decorate the inside of our card. One of our previous partners was The Three Amigos so I am joining in on their embossing, wet or dry, challenge.
I had an unused stamp set from Recollections,Cheeky Modern Pop Unicorn, that was sitting in my "neglected" pile. I also had some very thin black paper sitting in a pile. So, I stamped "SOMETHING", the Unicorn on the black paper with white ink, colored lightly in white and then added the colors using Polychromos pencils. I added some shine with sparkle pens and some Glossy Accents on the horn. The background is both wet and dry EMBOSSED adding Wow gold embossing powder over an embossed piece of Yupo that had been colored with alcohol inks (it's the pink and yellow vertical stripes that you can barely see). The sentiment on the front was from the set and I added some pretty Liquid Pearls.

To add to the INSIDE of the card, I stamped the sentiment that came with the set then added some Bo Bunny glitter paste through an Altenew stencil called Warp Speed.

Hope you'll join in on the fun for both of these groups! Thanks for your visit.

Hornless Unicorn in Black and White

The August Challenge for Paper Smooches is still an Anything Goes!
This cute little critter is from a die set called Unicorn. It has an optional horn, and I did it without.  I cut the image twice and pieced it together to vary the black and white. I used Cuttlebug and a Darice embossing folders for texture on the papers, added some foam and enamel dots and called it finished. Sometimes a sweet image like this should just be a focal point. I left it without a sentiment so it could be used for anything in the future.

Thanks for your visit, and I hope to see you again soon!

Unicorn Betsy

This week's optional twist over at The Outlawz, Twisted Thursday, is "animal". Our sponsor, Ppinkydolls, has this sweet little girl with her unicorn, called Unicorn Betsy, that I just found irresistible. I was really in the mood for some fun, so I colored the unicorn in magic colors. I used a corner punch on the image, edged it with Distress Inks, and popped it up with foam. The background is a paper sunburst that I made using origami papers. I added burlap butterflies that I sprayed with my Copic air brush. The sentiment, also popped, is from a Tim Holtz Small Talk pad.
