School Days Card

Double Trouble, Challenge #9, is all about School Days. We are also challenged to add a book mark or removable tag, and finally another option is to use the sketch from Try Stampin' On Tuesday.

Sketch
I used a stamp set from Stampin' Up called Crafting Forever. I added some washi tape to make the sketch work (sideways), the sentiment is from Tim Holtz, Small Talk. The cute little book mark is from Lawn Fawn.

  1. What a clever card, Jean!!! I love the colors, and have to admit I had missed this beautiful stamp set in the 2018 SU catalog. If they had used YOUR card in the catalog it would have been the first on my list to buy!!! Thank you for sharing your creativity and talent with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday! -Donna

    1. LOL, Tracey, what's worse is my hubby is the same way. Going to Staples can be dangerous for us! Thanks!

  6. So fun, Jean - that's one of my fave stamp sets, with all the coloring possibilities, and what a great idea to use it for a school theme! Brilliant! Your coloring is lovely over that pretty background paper, too. Thanks so much for playing at TSOT!

  8. For someone that thinks she has a hard time interpreting sketches, a job well done. Great card for School Days and love that adorable little creature for your bookmark, I think I remember you bringing to our crop. Thanks again for playing with us this week at Double Trouble, and even meeting the Double Dare Sketch requirement from TSOT.

    1. Would you believe that I forgot about the sketch when I started this. When I remembered, I had followed the sketch, LOL! Probably the only way I could do it right is to do it wrong :) Thanks, Sue!
