Cross-Stitch Wishes

When a friend asks, you respond! My friend, Sue Reynolds, has asked her crafting buddies to make a card for the Color My Heart Color Dare #312 and place HER initials after the name of our project (for a friendly competition between design team members). Glad to do so, Sue!
The color dare is a tic tac toe with some really pretty colors. I selected row one with the lovely light pink, an almost rose pink, and deep teal. I used a set called Cross-Stitch Wishes #S1401. I know most of us have tons of inks, but hunting around for a rose colored ink was not successful for me. So, I stamped once in a red followed by a stamping with a light coffee colored ink. I love the color it created, and as close to that sugarplum color as I could get.

The window is a die cut, Peekaboo Backdrop, from Lawn Fawn. A few Nuvo Drops in the pale pink were added for some interest.

Thanks for stopping by, and do check out the challenge and my friend's blog too (both linked above)!

Ooooh, love all the cross stitching stamps and stitched window panels...I have several of those stitched window panels and I don't think I have ever used but one of them....thanks for the inspiration. Great selection of colors from our TicTacToe Board and really appreciate that you joined our team challenge at Color Dare.

    1. Isn't it funny how we do get motivated to dig into our stash when we see someone else use something. I have had window dies for years, Sue, and I think this is only the second time I have used this one.
