Fleur-de-Lis

The optional twist this time for Twisted Thursday is Fleur de Lis / Damask. Our sponsor is Morgan's Artworld and I chose her digital image Helen. (You must be a member of this Facebook group in order to purchase images.)
I found some free papers on Pixabay to use for the background of Fleur de Lis.  I colored the image with Copics and added some Prismacolor colored pencils. the shading around the edges is Distress inks. I finished with a few gold ribbon and gold roses.

    Oh my, Jean, the contouring on her face is absolutely gorgeous! These kinds of images always intimidate me and send me running the other direction! ;) Gorgeous!!!

    Such beautiful coloring, especially the skin! I’m loving that fleur de lis background paper! The whole card design is gorgeous!

      Thanks, Janet. I really had to search high and low to find something with fleur de lis....especially since I really didn't know what damask was anyway!
