I thought I'd give Birdbrain a "feather color treatment" and turned him into a blue bird this time. Do you think he minds? I just loved the background paper and so he just had to be blue this week LOL!
The element is some sparkly enamel dots from my stash. I added some Distress Inks to the image and sentiment. The sentiment and dark purple shapes were die cut with parts of the Darice Nesting Book Pages set. I used a clear gel pen on the glass and Wink of Stella on the bottle. The sentiment is popped for dimensional interest.

ReplyDeleteThanks, Kathy. I have a couple of friends who are big time wine drinkers, so I think I will have to make another one :)

DeleteSuper card Jean! This is a fun image and you have paired it with fabulous patterned papers :-) Thanks for joining us at From the Heart Stamps in our weekly sketch challenge :-)
ReplyDeleteThe whole color scheme started from the two pieces of paper that I came upon in my stash, Karen. I seldom work that way, but maybe I should try picking paper first and then coloring more often :)
DeleteFantastic card, Jean! First, I love all your paper pieces and the way you put everything together! Second, your coloring especially on the wine bottle is awesome! Third, what a fun sentiment! Fourth...fifth...sixth...what can I say!! I love it all!!
ReplyDeleteHugs!

Thank you, Darcy. I was watching a video today from Sandy Allnock, and she was showing how to use gesso to make glass look more like glass. I will have to try that one day soon!
