Sending Happy Thoughts

Time for Double Trouble Challenge Blog #29! Brown Bag-It! Using Kraft, adding strawberries, and using a sketch from Try Stampin' on Tuesday gives us some great ideas to work with.
The digital strawberry, from Jane's Doodles - no longer available, was colored with Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens, colored pencils, and Karina Wink pens. They are popped as the final layer. I could hardly believe my luck when I found the strawberry ribbon in my stash to weave through the white die cut! The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamps, Tiny Words.

Thanks for your visit. I hope you'll join in with both groups!

  4. What a gorgeous strawberry! The trellis and ribbon on Kraft comprise a perfect background for the beautifully colored fruit. (I have those Karina Wink pens and have never used them.) Thank you for playing along at Color My Heart Color Dare.

    1. I suppose we all have a lot of supplies that we have never or seldom used. That's why I decided to use some different coloring mediums. Well, if you must know, I printed on my inkjet, which is of course not Copic friendly, and wound up with smears that I had to cover, LOL! Thanks, Melanie!

  6. That's a big strawberry going up your vinage background...I bought some strawberries at Costco which were big, but not quite that big...looks delicious. Thanks for supporting our Twisted Sister, she always enjoys seeing her twist on participants and thank you for sharing with us at Double Trouble and Try Stampin' on Tuesday.
