Mad For Plaid

Enjoying being the Crazy Cousin again for the Double Trouble Challenge #38!

This time, choose your favorite plaid (Buffalo, Scottish, Tartan, Gingham, Checkered, Argyle, etc,) and use any patterned papers, stamps or techniques to add some interest to your work.

Optionally, include a tag and/or frame of any shape on your project, and/or, if you used a "Tag and/or Frame" you are eligible to enter your project at Use Your Stuff and earn an additional chance for Double Trouble's random draw.

I did an overlay of the image (Bugaboo Digi Stamp, Rag Monkey, retired) with a printed shadow before I printed using We Are 3 Digital Paper, Shabby - Plaid
Then I added a fussy cut colored (Albrecht Durer, Faber Castell, watercolor pencils) duplicate image over the top.
.
Finally, some Nuvo Crystal Drops and a Decorative Tag by Gina K with my own sentiment finished the card.

Thanks for your visit and I hope you will join in on the fun!

  2. I love this card...it's so adorable and how you monkied around and used the same plain in her dress and bow. You got quite creative in your digital. Thanks again for a great Guest Designer card and can't wait to show off your next fantastic project for our "Something, Anything and Everything" challenge.

    1. Thanks, Vicky, for noticing that shadow. I wondered if it was a good idea before I did it. Sometimes it's just good to go with an idea even if it doesn't work...learning :)
