This month over at Twisted Thursday, we want to show our appreciation to all the kind sponsors we have had support us in 2017 by having a "POT OF GOLD". This week's optional twist is Anything Goes. I selected A Day For Daisies and used the image Forest Friends.
I colored the image with
PrismaColor pencils and edged with Quick Quotes chalk ink. Then, I made a background with the Quick Quotes chalk inks. I The image was popped and a sentiment, from Ranger, Letter It Clear Stamps, was die cut and popped as well.

My dear friend is graduating with her Doctorate degree. I am so proud that I could burst. I don't get to see her much since she moved, but we always meet up for coffee when she is in town. I wanted to send her a congratulations with a reminder of our happy times over a cuppa!
I was lucky to have won this adorable image called Luane from LeAnn's World 101 a while back and finally had the time to color her up!
The digital printed background paper is from Design Bundles and called Rainbow Glitter (free at this posting time). The gauze papers are by DCWV, the rectangle frame is from Poppy Stamps, and I added some gold thread and Nuvo Crystal Drops in several colors.

This month over at Twisted Thursday, we want to show our appreciation to all the kind sponsors we have had support us in 2017 by having a "POT OF GOLD". This week's optional twist is Seasons. I selected Digi Stamps 4 Joy and used the Daisy Corsage to make a spring card.
Closed Card Front
Single Image
I created a folded screen card using a square punch to make the legs and a punch to make a decorative top. Then, rectangles of paper were topped with purple stitched ovals and the image, colored four times with PrismaColor pencils also die cut with a stitched oval.

This month over at Twisted Thursday, we want to show our appreciation to all the kind sponsors we have had support us in 2017 by having a "POT OF GOLD". This week, I made a card using the sweet little rocking horse image from Limited Runs. Our optional twist is to use a tic tac toe board and I selected flowers, pink, and polka dots.
I colored the image with Copic markers, made my own polka dotted background using my Copic airbrush over a CC Designs Dots Stencil, made some little flowers and sprayed with the same color. The tiny sentiment comes from Bo Bunny Icon Stamps. The rocking horse is popped with foam for some added dimension.

This month, over at Paper Smooches, the challenge is to use a provided sketch. I have had this idea for a while and decided to use the sketch in a way that allowed me to create an interactive card with my favorite, Chubby Chums, stamps and matching dies.
Laminated Interchangeable Chums
Each little chubby chum can be interchanged to take a ride in the wagon! I don't really know how to add a video, so forgive this very amateurish attempt!
I used the Chubby Chums stamps and to create my little guys and colored with Copics. I laminated them, then cut with the matching die set.
I used Stampin Up cardstock for the base with some stars paper from Carta Bella Cardopia.
The wagon was made from red cardstock, and the handle was die cut from the Paper Smooches Paint Palette and I rounded the paintbrush end. After laminating them, I use a punch to make a hole in the handle. I used some cardboard to make the slider. The stars are from the Critter Card Puns, and the Washi Tape is from Scotch.
Thanks for stopping by, and a special thanks to all that leave comments!

I
made a side step card, topped it with a Gelli print on deli wrap. Added
a canvas design strip to the top and a couple of brads. The images were
colored with PrismaColor colored pencils and some parts were topped
with a Nuvo Clear Glitter Brush.

I have had this set called Super Duo from Simon Says Stamps/ Mama Elephant for some time and just never got around to using it. This seemed like the perfect time to do so!
Side View
I also pulled out my new Triple Scallop Square card making die for the swinging shields.
The Ka-Pow is stamped then heat embossed in clear for the blue and white for the sentiment. The little hero is colored in Copics, fussy cut, and popped. The background is Distress Inks in blue. The lightning bolts and tiny stars were stamped with Golden Glitz Delicata and filled with a gold Gelly Roll Metallic pen.
Thanks for stopping by, and a special thanks to all that leave comments!
New to me Facebook group called LeAnn's World 101 generously offered this adorable free image, Kitty, for us to use. Coloring with pencils on brown, tan, or Kraft paper has been a current favorite of mine. Not to worry though; pencils will not replace my Copics as number one choice :)
I used the Chameleon Color Tones colored pencils, layered with Mat Stacks, added gold star brads, and popped up the XO sentiment from Paper Smooches on the word bubble die also from Paper Smooches.
Thanks so much for stopping by. Hope to read a comment from you!
The yellow background is a Gelli Plate print, the blue papers come from Echo Park 6x6 Fine and Dandy paper pad. The sentiment is from Small Talk, Tim Holtz Idea-ology. I added some clear gel pen to the eyes, fish, and worms, and a few drops of Nuvo Crystal Drops to the background. The image was fussy cut and popped with foam tape.
Thanks so much for dropping by. Hope you join us! And, a special thanks if you left me a message!
This month over at Twisted Thursday, we want to show our appreciation to all the kind sponsors we have had support us in 2017 by having a "POT OF GOLD". This week's optional twist is Metallics. I selected MHK Designs and used the Butterfly collection.
I printed the digital images using a laser printer, then ran them through my Minc machine with gold foil. The black card is edged with gold paper and mounted on white cardstock. I used some pretty gold foil thread, punched butterflies (Recollections) using the same gold paper as the image backings and edge strips, and round golden disks to finish off this metallic medley.
