The April Progressive Challenge
over at The Outlaws
has a beautiful image called Hummingbird-n- Morning Glory Flowers
by Mary Smith from Create-ful Heart Cards
. I love hummingbirds and have a feeder right outside of my kitchen window where I can watch them in all their glory. My coloring doesn't do these gorgeous birds justice, but I loved coloring this all the same.
I used some Tim Holtz burlap for the background of this card. The die cuts come from Gina Marie Dies, the heart was made with Waffle Flower's Rosette Hearts die. The tiny flower is from a Stampin 'up stamp and cut with a matching punch. A bit of Wink of Stella, gold gel pen, white embossed sentiment (Stampabilities), some ribbon and a pearl complete the card.
Thank you for stopping by. I enjoy reading your comments.
Love the beautiful soft colors, Jean! That background is blended to perfection!ReplyDelete
