I used a rag with Colorless Blender to texture the bricks. I added some Nuvo drops to the flowers for dimension. The windows are frosted with Wink of Stella, and the pitcher is rounded with Glossy Accents.
Thank you for stopping by. I enjoy reading your comments!

So so pretty! Love how you colored the windows... not to mention that glass pitcher... beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lisa. I just love windows for some reason. Maybe the mystery of what might be happening inside, I don't know, but I love this stamp!
DeleteHow beautiful! Those bricks have so much texture, and the window panes looks just like glass!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janet. It's a fun one to color!
DeleteThe first thing that caught my eye was those luscious Nuvo crystal drops in the centre of all those flowers... they really make them pop. I also LOVE the way you've textured the brick work, the result is fantastic and what a great technique. You definitely nailed the look of the rounded pitcher by adding the glossy accents, the effect is wonderful. Love it all!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Beccy

DeleteWhat a fabulous card! I cannot stop looking at your technique on those windows and that vase. If the dates coordinate, this might be a good candidate for this challenge: http://citycrafter.blogspot.com/

DeleteWhen they have images like this all the time in Progressive, I may come back into this challenge. Love this image and as always your coloring is fantastic.
ReplyDeleteThis one is a beauty, isn't it Sue? We are always grateful to sponsors and find a way to make something nice with whatever they generously give us. Everyone does have different taste and some images can be more challenging depending on that. This one was easy for me to make "pretty"!
