I {heart} Sketches with a tWist offers us a pretty sketch and a twist of watercolors and some colors to select. I used the sketch and I colored Bunny Love (still free as I post this) with Prima watercolor pencils, but I selected my own colors.
I used the Darice Oblong Doily Frame, Verso Sunflower Array Patterned Panels, and The Robin's Nest Dew Drops. I added a bit of Spectrum Noir clear sparkle. The sentiment, which comes with the set, is popped up.
Thanks for stopping by. I enjoy reading your comments.
Hey Jean! Love that sky you created. Works so perfectly in your nestled die cuts. Thanks so much for choosing to play with us over at From The Heart Stamps for Sketch 164. Always a pleasure to visit. Take care.
ReplyDeleteKathy, I was almost afraid to add that sky, but the challenge was watercolor, so I went for it. After all, it is only paper :)
DeleteI know - sometimes when we just "do it" we come out with the most lovely creations. I have done this in my art journaling practice which allows me freedom to just let go and not worry about being perfect.
DeleteSuper cute Card, Jean and i totally like the pink ear ! Fabulous coloring. Thanks for entering this weeks challenge @ From the Heart Stamps.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Imke. I'm certainly better when coloring with my Copics, but it was fun to do some watercoloring this week, especially adding a bit of pink :)
