Debossed Floral Card

I am a member of Instagram and was invited by the sweet "Craftingwhilethebabynaps" to enter my card in The Flower Challenge.

The Flower Challenge
I used a Darice embossing folder on white cardstock, colored the debossed areas with Copic markers, and then dragged Evergreen Bough, Broken China, and Pumice Stone Distress Inks across the card before popping it up on foam and mounting it onto a dark green paper, then onto the white base.

Thanks for stopping by. I do love reading your comments!

  1. What beautiful results you achieved using this technique! No two cards will ever be exactly alike when using this direct-to-paper dragging application.

    1. This technique just amazed me, Melanie. I'm so glad you shared it with me. I know it is one I will use over and over. I even got four new embossing folders last week just to do more!

  6. Was this also kind of the technique that Mare shared with us with the embossed background with scoring? I've tried this myself; but background still sitting in my stash because I wasn't very happy with it; but I guess all it needs is the right image..maybe I'll pull it out again.

    1. Sue, I got this idea from Melanie; however, maybe she got the idea from Mare! Anyway, do try it again. I just love it!
