Bake Me a Bloobel Cake Twisted Pop-Up Card

This is the second Progressive Challenge, Facebook, hosted by Lisa of Bloobel Stamps. I just love this image, Bake Me a Cake, as it comes with all kinds of little items you could add. I decided to build a cake as I just got a new set from Newton's Nook Designs, Made From Scratch, that I thought would make the inside pop-up fun.

I followed a tutorial from Dina on Split Coast Stampers to make the Twisted Pop Up Card. I must say that it took me more than one try to grasp the last step. But, I finally got it and decided to do a video to show how it opens.

  1. This is amazing. Your colouring is stunning, I just hope as a newbie to alcohol markers that with time, want and dedication that I could eventually become as talented. I got into the colouring due to starting back into crafting cards in November last year and I was lucky to get Spectrum Noir markers full collection with money from Christmas. I've been watching hundreds of UTUBE video tutorials over the last few weeks. Your card is amazing and I look forward to learning techniques from yourself as I came across you on Koala-T-Crafts by following links about the February challange. I've never seen a pop up card like this and think I may have a go, as I'm starting a card tomorrow for my best friend just to say how much I appreciate her friendship. Thanks for the inspiration. Is it OK if I was to send u a pic of my effort when finished. Thanks again I'm now eager to look and learn from you. Xx

    1. Thanks, Janet. It wasn't easy for me as I got stuck on the last step...over and over, LOL! But, now that I've done it I can see that it wouldn't be difficult for most people! Do give it a try.
