The background is done on watercolor cardstock. It has several shades of Distress Inks blended and then spattered with Heidi Swap Color Shine in gold. I added a silver die cut shape, some waxed twine, and some blue flat pearls.

Jean, I love the background you created here! That turned out amazing! It looks like the glow from candles, which is just perfect with the digi you chose! Great coloring on that Birdbrain!

DeleteI agree...that background is amazing! I am sure my candles would put off a bigger glow! Might even trigger the fire alarms! Lol! Love that Birdbrain and how you colored him!

DeleteThis is so cute, Jean! I am going to have to buy this set because it is just so cute!! Your background layer is nicely done and I never thought to trim off a scalloped circle to make yet another die cut like you did for your image! I am definitely stealing this idea!! LOL
