Paper Piecing Balloons

From the Heart, i {heart} card sketches w/ a tWiSt #158 offered a sketch and an optional twist to use paper piecing. Well, I color. That's what I do. Paper piecing? Not so much. However, a challenge is a challenge and sometimes we just have to step out of our comfort zone. I stepped waaaay out LOL! These balloons, in the center, come from a set called Photo Ham PigWit balloons. The die cut oval is from Darice, and the balloons on the left are from Creative Dies. All balloons were topped with Spectrum Noir Sparkle.

Thank you for stopping by. I always appreciate your visits and the comments you leave!

If you visit before June 30, I have entered a coloring (with Copic) contest over at Dover Publications. Since I entered just a day ago, I'm sure my votes are very low and it ends soon. If you have a moment, I would most appreciate it if you could click on this link and vote for me. (Or someone else if you choose.) Thank you!

  1. I love that you went outside your comfort zone for this card. It turned out wonderfully, but I know what you are saying about coloring. You got my vote at Dover...good luck! Your loved vase proves that you color! Thanks so much for playing along with us again this week at From the Heart Stamps sketch challenge!

    1. Maybe if I could cut a straight line, I might be better at paper piecing, LOL! Thanks for not noticing, out loud anyway, how poorly they are cut out LOL!
