From the Heart,
i {heart} card sketches w/ a tWiSt #157 offered
a sketch and an optional twist
make it sparkle. This was a fun sketch with the circles, and I found a wonderful
set with flip flops and several sentiments that worked perfectly with the circles. The circles, cut with
Gina Marie Design Dies, are recessed and the gold paper is sparkly even though it wont show up in the photo. I also added some sparkle with the little diamond stars on the flip flops, because what are flip flops without a touch of bling?

Jean, you beat me again! I just can't seem to post a card quickly enough! Seriously, though, I love the sparkle on those flip flops! Brilliant!
ReplyDeleteHaHa, Carrie. I hadn't seen this freebie posted and just happened upon it. I love flip floppy things :) And, thanks. I'll slow down in the future :)
DeleteJean, you are so prolific and I LOVE IT! What do you do with all your cards? Ever consider donating to Send a Smile 4 Kids? This is a fabulous organization that uses the cards we make for those hospitalized children. Not as a "get well", but as inspiration. You can check them out at: http://sendasmile4kidschallenge.blogspot.com/p/guidelines-for-donated-cards.html - Back to the card - Mandala's are so hot how and with these flip flops, it's perfect for summer. Thanks so much for joining us for 157 at FTHS.
ReplyDeleteI had a group that I used to send all my cards to and they stopped taking them, Kathy. Thanks for an alternative. I will look into it :)
DeleteSo cute! I love how you isolated the flip flop!!
ReplyDeleteThank you, GC. I had to put something in that third circle LOL!
DeleteVery clever putting all those flip flops in the circle. Looks like a mosaic. Fantastic card.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you joined us at Die Cut Divas.
That's one of the things that I like about digital images, Arlene. Since you can resize them, you can fit them into just about anything. Thanks for stopping by :)
DeleteYour card is so warm. As for me, it urges to do yoga by the sea ))) I really don't know why...
ReplyDeleteI think the flowered paper and the flip flops do bring up thoughts of Hawaii. Never been, Lilah, but I can see why you think that :)
DeleteVery summery and colourful. Thanks for joining the Die Cut Divas this month, CarolG DT
