Snowman Hugs in the Meadow

From the Heart, i {heart} card sketches w/ a tWiSt #135 offered a sketch and an optional twist to add some nature. I chose to do both.   I selected this sweet and loving couple called "Snowman Hugs",  and trees from another set called "In the Meadow".
The orange stripes paper is from Recollections. The paper behind the trees is from a woven embossing folder that was covered with Distress Points and sprayed with Chalkboard paint, I added some Stampendous chunky white embossing enamel for snow.  Distress Inks were used for edging and a few die cut and punched hearts finish the card.

      Thanks, Lisa. I was originally going to use the trees for the rectangular strip but it didn't look right, so I had to add the strip anyway. I'm glad I got to use one of my "play" pieces of paper though.

    Jean this is so cute and your coloring skills rock my world. I don't even know how to begin coloring with copics but I'm going to have you teach me if I ever get some..hehe

    Awwww, these snowmen are adorable! I love what you have done with this card! All the texture and the trees are fabulous! Plus I love the colors you chose...so different, and so bright!
