Monochromatic Card Using Meljen's Designs

What fun. Do a card monochromatic! That was the challenge from Meljen's Designs and I grabbed the beautiful Meljen's Designs Cup of Sunshine and all the red/violet Copics and got to work. I just love the raspberry color. I sprayed a cut out strip with my air brush and added a couple of flowers and three of my own dots made from melting beads. This is my first entry to Meljen's and I was so impressed with what the design team came up with. Hop over and enjoy more monochromatic goodness!

  1. Jean, your monochromatic picture is beautiful. I love your melted beads. They are more important because you made them. I think the shades of color make it all very interesting.

    1. Thanks so much, Sharon. It was interesting to only use one color, but I think I actually like the technique.

    1. Thank you, Susan. I posted on how to make the dots here: http://tanglestreetcolorway.blogspot.com/2014/07/making-some-enamel-dots-and-outlawz-cas.html
I used parchment paper and a toaster oven at 375 degrees. You should try it. It sure was fun to do.
