Today, I'm playing with
Double Trouble Challenge Blog #26, as well as
The Joy of Sets #004. Double Trouble asks for water to celebrate (shower) or rain. An additional prompt is to add a bumbershoot or umbrella. Then, we can also add what we've created to
The Joy of Sets if we use a row of their TicTacToe board.
I selected to use rain, but of course to celebrate spring as well. I do love umbrellas and I've always wished to have pretty rain boots like these. The images and sentiment come from a Penny Black set called
April Showers.
Following the tic-tac-toe board, I added some lacy ribbon, some pretty flowers and pearls on the flowers and some of the raindrops. The background was blended with Distress Oxides and the images were colored with Copics.
