The optional twist for Twisted Thursday, is Pearls and Lace. Last post, I showed the creation of one of the digital journals available from our sponsor, Vectoria Designs!
Here is a double page spread with this weeks twist:
I used several elements from one of the sets that I printed out, and I also added some things from my stash, stencils, and Distress ink borders to tone down the brightness a bit. The butterfly has a jeweled body just for fun too!
As I said in my last post, I am so in love with these reasonably priced journal sets that I had to purchase several of them!
And, remember, there are loads of helpful videos on how to construct your own journals on YouTube!

You're a Doll
#57 for the Double Trouble Challenge Blog is all about our favorite childhood toy/s. Well, for me it was dolls. I had/have many! Never really took to the Raggedy Ann kind, but that's the image I had from Dee Dees Digis, which doesn't seem to be selling any longer. The sentiment is from Tiddly Inks.
Part of the challenge was to use Kraft, which I just love using. I used some Copics, Prismacolor pencils, and gel pens.
An option includes sharing with Crafting Happiness who has an "kids" theme going on!

Vintage Junk Journal
The optional twist for Twisted Thursday, is Vintage. I am just loving the digital journals available from our sponsor, Vectoria Designs!
Using elements from the set, I created the covers and pages. On the right page, the circle can be lifted to place a "hidden" message.
Adding a lot of Distress inks and subtle pencil coloring adds to the vintage look of any page.
On the left of this double page spread, you can see a pocket and two other pages.

Birthday Butterfly
Double Trouble Challenge Blog # 56!
A birthday card or scrapbook page, a tic tac toe ( Birthday, Things that Fly, Sponging) from the Joy of SetsTic Tac Toe Challenge , and some sponging, would go together to make for a nice presentation.
A bit of coloring on parchment, some embossing, and fun die cutting, then all placed on the top of a sponged stencil background!
