This sweet little image is from LaLaLCrafts and and is called Marci Cupcake. (Free image for taking a class with Kit and Clowder in September.) She was colored with Prismacolor colored pencils. The papers are from CC Designs with a dark pink punched strip. The flowers were punched from scraps and held together with white brads.

Fall Leaves with Torn Edges and Twine
The optional twist this week over at The Outlawz, Twisted Thursday, is Torn Edges/Twine. Our generous sponsor this month is The Greeting Farm. Do pop over and see some of the wonderful products they have available for your crafting needs.
The paper with torn edges was created using shaving cream and Distress Inks. The leaves, from Sizzix, were cut from a printed paper and then rubbed with Distress inks and sprayed with Shimmer. The clear water droplets are Nuvo Drops.
Just for fun, here is another card that I made using those fall leaves, also with a shaving cream background. The embossed veins show up more clearly on a solid piece of paper.

Christmas Pixie
Tiddly Inks has a challenge up on their blog with three themes to enter and win! The options are Floral, Girly Girl, and Anything Goes. For this card, I chose "Floral", and used the adorable Christmas Pixie Stamp and the poinsettias are my flowers.
I added some Nuvo Crystal Drops, glitter gel pens, ribbon, and a glittered star from my stash. I cut out one of the poinsettias to pop up on the card.

Forest Friends in Foil
Just a quick post today to share a card I made using the Minc machine over an image printed with toner ink. I used the image Forest Friends,
from A Day for Daisies. The sentiment comes from
Tim Holtz. I used gold metalic paper on the sides over black cardstock for the card base.
