Knitty Kitty Purrfect Mum

This month at Twisted Thursday, our sponsor is Knitty Kitty Digis. Our optional twist is Animal Antics. My image is called Purrfect Mum and I thought I would go with the yarn ball theme.
I colored the main image with Copics and Prismacolor colored pencils. The green is Distress Inks. The yarn was a bit (okay a lot) uncooperative, but I finally tamed it with lots of glue, sticky tape, snot dots, and hot glue gun!

Thanks for visiting. I love reading your comments!

    1. Thanks, Julie. I used acrylic and I think wool would have been easier to work with. I might try that in the future.

    1. I have had lots of cats in my life, Janet. None of them had ever been interested in yarn until Charlie came along. If I don't put my knitting away, it is unraveled in no time! Thanks!

    1. Sometimes I think that creative people understand the nature of cats more. I'm not surprised that you have had kitties. I wish I could have more, but our dog is getting too old for kitten shenanigans, LOL!
      Thanks, Andrea!

  4. This has got to be the most perfect use of yarn on a card! I used to watch my mom knit and not far away would be our cats just waiting for her to walk away! There is nothing funnier than kitties with yarn....unless it's a cat with a flashlight! We had a cat that could jump a "mile high" to get that illusive light! hahaha
