Beautiful Birdhouse on Kraft

Our sponsor this month is PolkaDoodles. I selected Beautiful Birdhouse for the optional twist of One Word this week over at  Twisted Thursday.
The image was colored with Prismacolor colored pencils on GinaK Kraft paper.
I added some clear gel pen over the hearts and some Nuvo Crystal Drops in yellow for the centers of the flowers. The embossed white paper is popped up, and The Layered Hello is from Paper Smooches with the red topped using Nuvo Crystal Drops in clear. A few enamel dots and tiny red bird finished the card.

      Thank you, Janet. Using pencils on Kraft is a very different way to color. I am enjoyed exploring that option.

    Love how you have used the Kraft Paper Jean for your image, I to have been playing around with the Kraft paper and my coloured pencils it's lot of fun. Love your card it's so lovely. Big hugs Andrea

      There is a bit of a learning curve for colored pencils on Kraft, isn't there, Andrea? I am having fun, but I know it will take more practice to get it just right. Thank you!
