Gift Stack Teddy Bear

The December Progressive Challenge over at From the Heart, has this cute little Teddy called Gift Stack Teddy Bear. I gave him a furry coat using the Copic texture technique. The card base is an easel card from My Scrap Chick, cut with my Scan n Cut. The tree in the background is watercolored with Stickles added for decoration. It comes from Christina Hor, Memories Crafter. The image is popped up with foam as is the sentiment which also comes with this set.

  1. Oh your teddy bear is so precious! You got to write a post on this fussy technique you used on him. I want to learn! GRIN. And thank you so much for incorporating my little tree into your card design! It fits perfectly with the sweet teddy and his stack of gifts! Thanks for the smile Jean. Wishing you a lovely and blessed new week.

    Hugs,
    Christina

p.s. - may I add your card to my Digi page over on my blog?

    1. Thank you. I would be most honored for you to add my card to your blog, Christina. The technique is very simple. You spray some Copic colorless blender to a textured piece of cloth (I used terry cloth) and press it to the colored bear and hold for about 3 seconds per area. The colorless blender moves the color away, leaving the texture behind. Be sure that you haven't colored anything else first though or you will have spots there too LOL!
