Deedee's Elephant Flip Card

The September Progressive Challenge is ready over at Deedee's Digis. I just love this little elephant called "Leaf your cares behind". He comes with tons of extras. Do take a peek. I could hardly wait to color him. I found a great tutorial in Issue 139 of Simply Cards & Papercrafts for making tie dye baby wipes. You used them to transfer the design to paper, but I just loved the brightness of the original baby wipe so I glued that to the front of my card. I also found a wonderful tutorial for this card fold by France Martin that she calls a flip card.

I used the remainder of the baby wipe to die cut the leaves for the inside.

  5. Such a beautiful card, between that fun technique, the unique fold, and your own lovely coloring on the image. I have never tried the Baby Wipe Technique, but it does make a stunning background. I might have to give this one a go! Thanks so much for joining us at Deedee's Digis! :-)
